This is a picture of Kevin Lackey and his daughter Sydney. He is now at Ft. Sill, Okla. with deployment scheduled for Aug. 16, 08 to Iraq along with 400 other soldiers from his unit. He is with the 2nd battalion of the 149 Aviation Regiment, Texas Army National Guard, Grand Prairie, Texas. He is originally from Coalgate. His Son, Colby Lackey; parents, Paul and Kay Lackey; brother and wife, Chad and Jodi Lackey; and nieces, Jaci and Josi all live in Coalgate. This picture was taken Oct. 26, 2007 at DFW Airport when returning from a two month training in White Sands, NM.
