Soccer coach training Saturday

The Oklahoma Soccer Association Youth Module I and II coaching clinic is set for this Saturday, August 23 at the Ada Boys and Girls Club. The clinic begins at 9 a.m. This OSA clinic is required for all Ada-area youth soccer coaches. The clinic, presented by an OSA instructor, will offer information on youth coaching techniques and strategies, effective practice operation and the laws of the game.

The classroom session will begin at 9 a.m. and run until noon. The field session will run from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. The Ada Boys and Girls Club is located at 915 S. Hickory. The classroom presentation will be in the north end of the building.

The cost of the clinic is $25. Coaches should make their checks to Ada Boys and Girls Soccer Club and bring their checks to the clinic. This clinic is for both novice and experienced coaches. If a person has not coached youth soccer before but would like to, please make plans to attend the clinic.
