Oklahoman conducts book signing in Ada

ADA — Mary McCauley is having a book signing for her newly released romantic suspense novel Oklahoma Hearts Online.com at Hastings Bookstore Saturday, Aug. 30, from 12-5 p.m.
McCauley, a fourth generation Oklahoman, is a native of Tulsa and grew up listening to tales of her family living in Indian Territory. She and her family live in McAlester. McCauley graduated from the University of Tulsa with a bachelor of science in education.
with a major in social studies. She worked as a school teacher and taught history classes. Her favorite subject Oklahoma History inspired a love of the geography, history, and the varied cultures of Oklahoma. Her book is set in Oklahoma City and Pawhuska.
She got her idea for Oklahoma Hearts Online.com from her experience with computer dating as a college freshman. She and her friend signed up for computer dating and met some unusual people. McCauley is a full-time writer now and has been published in fiction and nonfiction, has won writing prizes and she is currently working on three different novels. She is a member of the McAlester McSherry Writers and the Oklahoma Writers Federation, Inc.
