Seminole police seek information in Sept. 23 murder

SEMINOLE — A 25-year-old Seminole man was murdered in his apartment Friday, Sept. 23, and authorities are seeking help from anyone who has information that will lead them to the killer. A $2,000 reward is being offered by Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI) for information leading to the arrest and conviction of Brett Wolfe's murderer.

Wolfe was found lying face down on the floor with his hands tied behind his back and his feet tied. He had been shot to death inside his Courtyard apartment, according to officials. The death is being investigated as a homicide, however, OSBI spokesperson, Jessica Brown said she does not have any suspect information.

“This is a shock and mystery to us who could have done this. Our family is just devastated,” said Sharon Streater, Wolfe’s aunt. “We’re hoping someone comes forward with information because we just don’t understand how this could happen to Brett. Everyone loved him.”

Wolfe had been living in the apartment for seven to eight months and was found by a friend, according to Streater.
