Chess tournament slated

— First Presbyterian Church at 301 E. Kings Rd. (building in back) will hold the first ever Ada Open Chess Tournament Saturday, Oct. 11.
Registration is from 9:00 - 9:45 am. Send pre-entries to Frank Berry, 402 S. Willis, Stillwater, OK 74074. FKimBerry@AOL.com.
Entry fee is $20. Oklahoma Chess Foundation (OCF) and the United States Chess Federation (USCF) memberships are required. OCF membership is $10, USCF Adult Membership is $41.
There will be three rounds at 10:00 am, 1:00 pm, and 4:00 pm.
First place is guaranteed $100.
