Thinking about starting a business or expanding a business? The OSU Extension educators in Pontotoc, Garvin, Murray, Johnston and Carter counties are offering an opportunity to join an educational road trip featuring key speakers who can help direct the way. On this two day trip participants will tour Dallas Market Center, be able to register to do business at Dallas Market Center, begin a business plan, discuss marketing strategies, locate potential markets, discover the art of display, meet other entrepreneurs, network with other business owners and learn tips about how to grown or start a business.
Registration for this opportunity is due November 1. Cost is $170 for a single room and $100 for a double room. The registration includes transportation, lodging, workshops, tour, lunch on Tuesday and snacks. As a business owner, some may take a tax deduction for all expenses of continuing management education undertaken to maintain and improve professional skills.
