Gospel Station holding fund raiser for new tower

On Nov. 5, Randal Christy’s Gospel Station Network will be holding a fund raiser to add another broadcasting tower to its growing network.

“This new tower is going to be constructed in Wichita Falls, Texas. We have a construction permit there to build a radio station to cover all of the Wichita Falls, Texas area,” Christy said. “We have equipment that we need but we now need a tower to complete construction of the station.”

The Gospel Station Network currently broadcasts in Ada, the Henryetta/South Tulsa area, the Kingfisher/Watonga area, the Lake Texoma Area and in Paris, Texas. They have affiliates in Oklahoma City, the Granite/Altus area, Bartlesville, Lawton, Enid and Forest, Miss. The Gospel Station Network is based out of Ada and all its stations are operated from Ada.

The planned tower in Wichita Falls will be 400 foot tall, Christy said.

“We intend to build it but we’re raising the funds to do so on Nov. 5,” Christy said. He said they’re trying to raise $100,000 in a single day.

Christy said the Gospel Station has been involved in feeding children through Pulliam Children’s Centers and other organizations, kids camps, evangelistic crusades and more.

“We have an opportunity like never before to build or buy stations all over the U.S. and reach more people than we ever dreamed,” a release from the Gospel Station Network said. “Please pray about getting involved in this massive effort to take back as much of the media as the Lord allows.”
