Tumblers place in competition, to compete again in Newcastle

Ada’s Champion Tumbling & Cheer had their first competition of the year for their All Star Cheerleading Squads.

They attended the National Spirit Alliance E-Town Showdown, Oct. 25 in Enid.

With a packed house of cheerleading squads in attendance, the Junior Varsity Squad came away with first place earning them Grand Champion of their division and the Varsity Squad received second place while being up against some tough competition.

Champion had two of their cheerleaders compete in individual events. Shaelee Cranford competing in the Mini Elite Cheerleader got first place and Ashley Cross competing in the Junior Elite Cheerleader got first place and she also was awarded Overall Grand Champion of the Elite Level Cheerleader division beating out six other girls for the title.

Both squads did amazing especially since more than half of the members are new to cheerleading.

The girls are back practicing hard and perfecting their routines for their upcoming competition on Nov. 23 in Newcastle.
