Tickets for Philharmonic concert go on sale Monday

PAULS VALLEY — The Oklahoma City Philharmonic will return to Pauls Valley this holiday season to perform “A Very Merry Pops” on Wednesday, Dec. 17, at Pauls Valley High School Auditorium at 7:30 p.m.
This annual Christmas concert will feature the best in holiday music, showcasing two outstanding performers, Erick Devine and Sally Mayes.
Devine has recently directed, “Funny Thing Happened On the Way to the Forum” as well as performing featured roles in “Seussical” and “Ragtime.” He has a recognizable face that portrays every character with the utmost exhuberance. Devine is a teacher, director and veteran Broadway performer.
Mayes has appeared in television, movies, and on Broadway. This winter season she will be delighting audiences in Chesapeake's A Very Merry Pops with the OKC Phil. Along with her 12 Manhattan Association of Cabaret (MAC) Awards, she has won two Bistros for her work in cabarets and recording.
Advance tickets for “A Very Merry Pops” in Pauls Valley are $20 each. Tickets the night of the concert are $25 each. Pauls Valley Arts Council members, Senior Citizens and area high school students will receive a $5 discount. Only one discount may be applied to each ticket purchase.
Advance tickets may be purchased at the following locations: Pauls Valley Chamber of Commerce, 112 E. Paul; and The Garvin County News Star, 100 N. Pine, Stratford.
