Giveaway winner takes home $1,000 in merchandise

ADA — Fall just got a little greener for Mead Lumber and Rental customer James Arnold of Allen.

On Dec. 01, Arnold was chosen as the winner of the Mead Lumber and Rental $1,000 Shopping Giveaway.

Arnold was selected at random from more than 2,000 entries submitted at the store from Aug. 27-Nov. 17.

Arnold said the grand prize was awarded to him on his birthday and it was the first time he had ever been awarded a prize in a contest.

Store manager Carlous West said Mead Lumber and Rental is delighted to provide one of its customers with the opportunity to make their fall projects a little more exciting.

“Everyone has a few extra chores this time of year, and we’re glad that James will be able to choose whatever tools he wants to get the job done,” Carlous said.

“We thank all those who entered the Fall Giveaway for their participation.

Mead Lumber and Rental Co. of Ada is located at 351 NE Richardson Loop in Ada and has been serving customers in the Pontotoc county area for 13 years.

It offers hardware, plumbing, lumber, rental equipment and home improvement supplies.
