ECU Athletic Camps

TENNIS

A tennis camp, under the direction of Donna Cox, who has coached junior high tennis in Ada for 18 years, along with East Central University coach Charlie Hibbard and members of the Lady Tiger and Tiger tennis squads, will be held June 2-6 for ages 8-19 at the Mayhue Courts at a cost of $100. The cost includes snacks and t-shirt.

FOOTBALL

A 7-on-7 East Central University Football Team Tournament Camp will be held June 2 for grades 9-12. The cost is $75 per team.

A Tiger Football Camp is also set for June 5-6 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for ages 8-13. The cost is $45 per participant and a swimming fee ($2 for ages 13 & $1.50 for ages 12 & under). Each camper will learn offensive and defensive skills from members of the ECU football coaching staff, along with participating in games and competitions.

SOFTBALL

East Central University Lady Tiger Softball Camps, under the direction of head coach Destini Anderson, will take place June 19-21 for grades 2-6 from 9 a.m. to noon and for grades 7-12 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the ECU softball field. Emphasis will be placed on pitching, hitting, fielding and other softball skills. Participants are asked to bring cleats, glove, bat, helmets and water bottle. The cost is $50 per participant.

BASKETBALL

East Central University Basketball Camps for girls and boys in grades 1-12 will be held under the direction of Donna Cox and women’s assistant coach Jeff McGaha from July 21-25. Grades 5-12 will meet from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at a cost of $75 while those in grades 1-4 will participate from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at a cost of $75.

A Basketball Shooting Camp, under the direction of Cox and McGaha, will be held July 28-30 from 9 a.m. to noon at a cost of $50 per participant. Snacks and t-shirt will be provided for the camps.

SOCCER

East Central University’s Soccer Camp, under the direction of assistant coach Riley Bailey, will be held on July 30-Aug. 1 for grades 1-12 from 9 a.m. to noon each day at a cost of $50 per participant. Emphasis will be placed on skills, strategies, drills, contests and games.
