COACHES QUOTE: “I felt like the first game was the most important. We worked all week on making contact and putting pressure on the defense, and I think we executed up and down the lineup about as well as we have all year. Nathan threw the ball real well in relief. We're one game away, and that's about all you can ask for this time of year,” Tupelo head coach Clay Weller.

Team Record: Tupelo 13-20.

Up Next: Tupelo vs. Caney-Whitesboro winner today, 4:30 p.m. at Class B Regional in Red Oak.
