Local winners

Top photo, Viva La Zoom, a first-time starter from the barn of trainer Luis Villafranco from Wapanucka, won by three lengths in the opening race at Blue Ribbon Downs on Nov. 17. Owned by Safari Racing from Ada and bred by AQHA Past President Jerry Windham, Viva La Zoom picked up a check for over $3,100 for his effort,; (middle photo) Racing for owner and breeder Joy White from Ada, Tres Okie won the final race at BRD on Nov. 17; (bottom photo) Hoppin Sunset won his third straight victory at BRD for owners Don Mourning and Jim Rankin from Ada earlier this month at the Sallisaw track.
