Taste of McAlester coming to Expo Center

The Southeast Expo Center in McAlester is the site of Taste of McAlester cooking event Oct. 14 at 6:30 p.m. with doors open at 6 p.m. This event is sponsored by CASA of Southeast Oklahoma, Inc., a non-profit organization that speaks up

for the best interest of abused and neglected children. All proceeds from the event go to CASA programs.

Area restaurants participating include: 1896 Jazz & Sports Place, Brangus Feedlot, Chef Billy’s, Chili’s Grill and Bar, Gold Buckle Cafe,’ Patron Mexican Grill, Speed Trap BBQ, Westside Steakhouse and What About Bob’s.

Also featured are specialties from Brangas Feedlot (bar drinks), Harbor Mt. Coffee Shop, Sailing Horse Winery, Schwan’s, Side Saddle Catering, and Whispering Meadows Winery.

Those attending must be 21 or older. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased at CASA of Southeast Oklahoma, 1230 S. Main St. or online at www.casaseok.cmarket.com.
