CLARIE HIGDON
ADA — Clarie Earl “Heavy Duty” Higdon, 51, Ada, died Jan. 30, 2006, at a local hospital. He was born Sept. 9, 1954, at Corpus Christi, Texas, to John Cecil and Margaret Langford Higdon. He lived in this area all his life and attended school at Latta. He was an auto mechanic.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Jimmy Ray Higdon.
Survivors include a brother, Cecil Lee Higdon and wife Viola, Stonewall; half-brother, John Lee Higdon and wife Michelle, Roff; two sisters, Mary Ann Moore and husband Bill, Waco, Texas, and Shelia Christine Hays, Ada; and numerous nieces and nephews.

STONEWALL — Services for Barbara Anne Fair, 50, Wichita, Kan., are 12 p.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church, Stonewall. Visitation with family was 6-8 p.m. Monday at Jackson Mortuary, Wichita, Kan.
She died Jan. 25, 2006.

ADA — Services for Lloyd Birdwell, 81, Ada, are 10 a.m. Wednesday at Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Capt. Jeff Daniel officiating. Burial follows at Oakman Cemetery.
Mr. Birdwell died Jan. 30, 2006, at his home. He was born March 16, 1924, at Sasakwa, to Sidney and Bessey Freeman Birdwell.
He married Ruth Norton in 1977. He was a mechanic and sanitation worker for the city of Konawa until his retirement.
He was preceded in death by two sons, Kenny Birdwell and Donald “Shorty” Birdwell.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth Hazel Birdwell, of the home; a daughter, Sharon Bahajak, Meeker; three stepdaughters, Orvetta Quisenberry, Carolyn Jean Glover, both of Mulvane, Kan., and Connie Beam, Ada; a stepson, Stewart Ryan, Ada; four sisters, Helen Ensey, Spencer, Wilma Palmer, Lois Rose, both of Oklahoma City, and Velma Nichols, Shawnee; and five grandchildren.
Bearers are Chris Tomlinson, Neil Burris, Steve Frederick, Zack Frederick, Guy Bartlett and Bobby Flippo.
