ADA – Services for Russell Austin Ebrite, 52, Huntsville, Texas, formerly of ada, are 10 am. Saturday, Feb. 9, 2008, at Smith-Phillips Funeral Home Chapel in Ada. Officiating will be the Rev. Raymond Brady. Burial follows at Memorial Park Cemetery, Ada.
Mr. Ebrite died Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2008, at his home in Huntsville. He was born April 27, 1955, at Ada, to Arthur Wayne and Dorothy Jean Farmer Ebrite.
He graduated from Channelview High School in 1973. He was employed with Brown-Root Construction Company as an electrical foreman for several years before retiring to his farm in New Waverly, Texas. He was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his mother, Dorothy Farmer Ebrite, New Waverly, Texas two sisters, Brenda Biscamp andher husband, Earl and Pamela Parkinson and her husband Mike, all of New Waverly; four nephews, Matthew Biscamp and Austin Parkinson, both of New Waverly, Aaron Parkinson, Austin, Texas, and Scott Parkinson, Lubbock, Texas; two nieces, Amy Wilkie and Laura Biscamp, both of New Waverley; one great-nephew, Billy Wilkie, New Waverley; and a friend, Sheri Burgess, Harrison, Ark.
He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Wayne Ebrite; and a sister, Terrie Joyce Ebrite.
Bearers are Earl Biscamp, Mike Parkinson, Scott Parkinson, Aaron Parkinson, Mike Bebee and Gary Farmer.
Honorary bearers are Glen Fulton, Alfred Bebee and Matt Biscamp.
Family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. today at Smith Funeral Home.
