DOROTHY COLBERT-WALKER

ADA-Services for Dorothy Colbert-Walker, 84, Ada, are 10:00 a.m. Thursday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Bill Frazier will officiate. Burial will follow at Steedman Cemetery, east of Ada. A Wake Service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday at Criswell Funeral Home.

Mrs. Colbert-Walker died Monday, February 11, 2008 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was born September 7, 1923 at Happyland, Oklahoma to Amon and Adaline Nelson Walker.

She married Simon Colbert in 1972 in Oklahoma City. He died February 22, 1996. She lived in the Oklahoma City area most of her life and moved to Ada four years ago. She was a member of High Springs Baptist Church in Sasawka.

Survivors include three daughters, Shirley Richardson, Oklahoma City, Norma Dawson, Oklahoma City, and Genevieve McGeisey, Tulsa; four sons, Fred Walker, Oklahoma City, Bill Henson, Oklahoma City, Sherman McGeisey, Tulsa, and Donald Walker, Seattle, Washington; 17 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Bearers will be Robert McGeisey, Freddie Walker, Jr., Vincent Henson, Harlen Henson, Josh Tapia, Billy Henson, Jr., and Antonio Richardson..
