ADA — Services for Charles W. Shields, 63, are pending with Smith-Phillips Funeral Home. He died April 3, 2009, at Ada.

MARVIN NICKELL
ADA — Services for Marvin Elmo Nickell, 77, Ada, are 10 a.m. Monday at the First United Pentecostal Church, the Rev. Daniel Johnson will officiate assisted by the Rev. Todd Bergman. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery in Stonewall.
The family will receive friends from 4-6 p.m. Sunday at Criswell Funeral Home.
Mr. Nickell died Wednesday, April 1, 2009, at an Oklahoma City hospital.

CLAUDE DELOZIER
ADA — Services for Claude DeLozier, 87, Ada, are 10 a.m. Saturday at Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, the Revs. Joe Howry and Tony Peak will officiate. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. DeLozier died Wednesday, April 1, 2009, at his home. He was born Nov. 29, 1921, at Stonewall to Vit and Britt Lydia Delozier.
He lived in this area all his life. Mr. DeLozier was a welder for B & B Tool Company retiring in 1990. He was of the baptist faith.
He married Lela Mae Newton on Aug. 10, 1954.
Survivors include his wife, Lela Mae Newton DeLozier, of the home; 10 sons, Cliff DeLozier and wife Betty, Stonewall, Don DeLozier, Seminole, Lee DeLozier and wife Jeanie, Clayton, Larry DeLozier and wife Jeanie, Auburn, Ind., Gene DeLozier, Stonewall, Roger DeLozier and wife Vickie, Ada, E.M. DeLozier and wife Donna, Muskogee, Claude DeLozier and wife Darla, Midland, Texas, Jackie DeLozier and wife Donna, Crosset, Ark., and Earl DeLozier and wife Pam, Ada; four daughters, Connie Campbell and husband Buddy, Ada, Claudine Sizemore and husband Glen, Checotah, Lela Vandewalker and husband Steve, Shawnee, and Patty Howry and husband Coy, Ada; 34 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Vit and Lydia DeLozier; four brothers, John, Jess, Rube, and Bill; a sister, Viola Easley; a son, Johnny Dewayne DeLozier in 1991; one grandchild; and one great-grandchild.
Bearers will be his grandsons, Tony DeLozier, Danny Howry, Jason Goodwin, Jason Campbell, Mark Johnston, Phillip DeLozier, Brian Engel, and Jeff DeLozier. Honorary bearers will be the remaining grandsons.

MARGURETE DIRCK
LITTLETON, Colo. — Services for Margurete Alma Been Dirck, 89, Littleton, Colo., formerly of Ada, Okla., are 2 p.m. Saturday at Central Church of Christ in Ada, Bud Ross will officiate. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, Ada. Visitation will take place at Criswell Funeral Home from 4 p.m. Friday until service time Saturday.
Mrs. Dirck died Tuesday, March 31, 2009, at Porter Hospice in Littleton. She was born Aug. 2, 1919, in Hackett, Ark., to Luther and Vera Inez Claborn Been.
She graduated from high school and attended business college.
She married Bill Dirck April 15, 1950, in Tulsa. He died Feb. 2, 1995.
Mrs. Dirck was a homemaker and she and her husband owned and operated Memorial Park Cemetery until they retired in 1985.
Mrs. Dirck was a member of Central Church of Christ in Ada for 37 years and for the past year, she was a member of Littleton, Colo., Church of Christ.
Survivors include a daughter, Andrea Dirck, Littleton, Colo.; three sisters, Madeline Durham, Crowley, Texas, Mary Gillam, Fort Smith, Ark., and Wilma Graham, Little Rock, Ark.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Madelyn Ann Dirck, and two brothers, Harold Been, Modesto, Calif.,, and Jackie Been, Fort Smith, Ark.
Bearers will be Kent Hamilton, Harral Harbin, Eddie Poblete, Toby Ross, Calvin White and Riley Young. Honorary bearers will be Janet Alexander, Tish Armstrong, David Baze, Sandra Clinton, Bill Dew, Joanne Doak, Lois McMillin, Katie Boston Pugh and Sally Walker.
