'SONNY' SAINT JR.

HENNESSEY — Services for Clifton A. "Sonny" Saint Jr., 74, are 2 p.m. Thursday at First United Methodist Church, officiated by the Rev. Robyn Thompson Goggs. Burial follows at Hennessey Cemetery.

Mr. Saint died Monday, April 6, 2009, at an Enid hospital. He was born Nov. 1, 1934, at Tupelo to Clifton and Bess Mayfield Saint.

He married Joan Britigan July 21, 1961, in Ada.

Mr. Saint served in the U.S. Army and taught school. He was a coach in Northwest Kansas prior to moving to Hennessey in 1964. He taught at Hennessey Public Schools and was high school counselor until his retirement.

Survivors include his wife, Joan, of the home; three daughters, Sandra Adasiak, Enid, Laura McCormick and husband Bill of Georgia, Lisa Greagrey and husband Joe of Texas; a son, Clifton A. Saint III and wife Michelle of Ada; a brother, Jon Saint, Sand Springs; two sisters, Joy Miller and Kay Saint, both of Ada; 11 grandchildren, Stacia Dunkin, Colby Adasiak, Colin McCormick, Lucas McCormick, Christian McCormick, Megan Saint, Ian Saint, Stephen Saint, Jonathan Saint, Jules Greagrey, Jennifer Greagrey; and one great-granddaughter, Addyson Dunkin.

Mr. Saint's parents preceded him in death.

Memorial donations may be made in his name to American Cancer Society with the funeral home serving as custodian of the fund.
