HEATHER JOHNSTON
ASHER — Services for Heather Mashell Gladden Johnston, 23, Asher, are 2 p.m. Friday at Konawa High School Auditorium, the Rev. Darrell Stinnett officiating. Burial follows at Vista Cemetery.
She was born May 14, 1984, in Tecumseh, to Laura Ann Dean Gladden and Robert Wayne Gladden. She died April 12, 2008, near Asher.
Mrs. Johnston was a lifelong Asher area resident and graduated from Konawa High School and also attended East Central University.
She married Robert Johnston in December 2006 in Ada.
She was a teacher's aide at Konawa Elementary School and also had worked at BancFirst in Konawa.
Survivors include her husband, Robert Johnston of Asher; a son, Colton Johnston of the home; a daughter, Alexis Johnston of the home; parents, Laura and Bobby Gladden, Asher; one brother, Ryan Gladden, Bethel; a sister, Amber Gladden, Asher; grandparents, Robert and Eileen Gladden, Jerry and Geneva Dean, all of Asher; great-grandmother, Virginia Gladden, Asher; aunts and uncles, Bill and Carol Gladden, Gary and Tammy Gladden and Becky and Wesley Yott; cousins, Little Bill and Mel Mel, Christina, Garrett and Jenna, Russell and Jayson Yott and Jerri Dawn and Gabbey and a host of other family and friends.
Bearers are Justin Thompson, Jack Thompson, Tommy Gregg, Jimmy Don Simpson, Michael Boles and Brandon Sexton.

CENTRAHOMA — Services for Jackie Dale Couey Jr., a longtime Coal County resident, are 2 p.m Thursday at Brown’s Funeral Chapel, Coalgate, the Rev. David Boggs officiating. Burial follows at Byrd’s Prairie Cemetery.
Mr. Couey died Monday, April 14, 2008, in Hughes County. He was born May 9, 1967, in Oklahoma City to Jackie Dale Couey Sr. and Fannie Mae Vires Couey.
He attended school at Holdenville, Tupelo and vo-tech at Atoka. He worked for the railroad for 16 years and was a truck driver for Awesome Trucking Company in Allen. He was a member of Tupelo Baptist Church.
He married Brandy Stokes March 21, 1992, at Francis.
Survivors include his wife, Brandy Couey, Centrahoma; two sons, Bryant Yoder, Hutchison, Kan., and Matt Couey, Centrahoma; a daughter, Amber Couey, Centrahoma; three sisters, Darla Thorton, Oklahoma City, Norma Fortner and husband Kenny, Tupelo, and Donna Couey, Tupelo; a brother, Steve Couey, Lawton; his father, Jack Couey and wife Roylene, Coalgate; grandfather, Leon Couey, Duncan; stepsister, Nicole Hargis and Jeremy, Stonewall; and many other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Fannie Mae Vires Couey; grandmother, Era Couey; stepsister, Tawanna Sexton and grandparents, Issac and Gracie Vires.
Bearers are Marc Chamberlain, David Leland, Randy Northam, Bill Padley, Danny Vires and Josh Vires.
Honorary bearers are Gary Humphreys, Brad Gould, Kenny Pierce and Darryl Weller.
Family night will be 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Brown’s Funeral Service, Coalgate.

FRANCIS — Services for Judith “Judy” Ann Breeding, 50, Francis, formerly of Seminole, are 11 a.m. Friday at Bowlegs Assembly of God Church. The Rev. Don Ramsey and Dr. Jack Medlock will officiate. Burial will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Calvary Cemetery in Shawnee.
Mrs. Breeding died Tuesday, April 15, 2008, at an Ada hospital. She was born Nov. 20, 1957, at Wichita, Kan., to Marvin and Alice Wheeler Thomas.
She graduated from Capitol Hill High School in Oklahoma City and from Seminole State College in Seminole.
Mrs. Breeding was a marketing manual specialist for Pre-Paid Legal Services from 2006 to the present. Previously, she was employed with the Oklahoma Tax Commission in Oklahoma City. She attended Bowlegs Assembly of God Church.
She married Gary Breeding on July 18, 1975, at Oklahoma City.
Survivors include her husband, Gary Breeding, of the home; three daughters, Nicole Allen, Houston, Texas, Catherine Breeding, Moore, and Cynthia Breeding, of the home; two sons, Christopher Breeding, Moore, and Tracy Breeding, of the home; her mother, Alice Nichols, Francis; two grandchildren, Bradley Allen, Houston, and Tommy Allen, Houston; and three brothers, Jimmy Thomas, Chehalis, Wash., Kenneth Thomas, Chehalis, Washington, and Clyde Thomas, Nicoma Park.
She was preceded in death by a son, Matthew Breeding, and a daughter, Melissa Breeding.
Bearers will be James Burke, Bryan Standifer, Terry Kinnamon, James Austin, Joshua Austin and Wayne Reeves.
