RUBY LITTLE
ADA — Services for Ruby Mabel Nelson Little, 96, Ada, are 1 p.m. Thursday at Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Dr. Roberto Escamilla will officiate. Burial will follow at Hillside Cemetery in Purcell.
Mrs. Little died Monday, April 20, 2009, at her home. She was born Sept. 8, 1912, at Cloudy, Okla., to Samuel Benton and Lillie Etna Pound Nelson.
She graduated from McAlester High School and East Central State Teacher’s College in Ada.
She married J.W. Little Aug. 22, 1936. He died Dec. 29, 1996.
Mrs. Little was an elementary school teacher for 35 years, a member of the First United Methodist Church in Ada and a Pioneer Teacher of Oklahoma. She moved to Ada four years ago from Norman.
Survivors include two daughters, LaVelle Walker and husband George E., Ada, and LaVonne Solomon, Irving, Texas; grandchildren, Penni Doyle, Reneé Harper, Clark Solomon, and Traci Solomon Guidry; four great-grandchildren, Meaghan and Ruby Doyle and Jim and Joe Harper; a sister, Betty Rennke, Ada; and a brother, William Ervin Nelson, Davis.
She was preceded in death by a sisters, Irene Green and Mozelle Goff; and brothers, L. B. Nelson, James Nelson and Kenneth Nelson.
Bearers will be her nephews, Bruce Rennke, David Rennke, Ron Rennke and Jeffrey Nelson.

JEAN TROBAUGH
ADA — Services for Mildred Jean Carrigan Trobaugh, 64, Ada, are 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Faith Assembly of God Church, the Rev. Greg Pollard will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.
Mrs. Trobaugh died Monday, April 20, 2009, at her home. She was born Feb. 25, 1945, at Seminole to Odis Jean and Mildred Viola Welliver Carrigan.
She attended Prarie Valley school and graduated from Byng School of Nursing in August 1981.
She married Nelson Kaye Trobaugh April 3, 1964, in Ada. He preceded her in death Aug. 4, 2007, in Ada.
Mrs. Trobaugh was an aide at Valley View Regional Hospital and later was a licensed practical nurse at Ballard Nursing Center, Stonegate Nursing Center in Stonewall and Halo Hospice in Ada. She moved to Ada in 1963 from Seminole. She was a member of Faith Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Jeannie Ruston and husband Tony, Ada; grandchildren, Ryan Hudson, Ocean Springs, Miss., Damian, Nia and Lee Ruston of Ada; one sister, Lynett Jones, and husband Roy, Ada; a brother, Wendell Carrigan, Okemah; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and a sister, Delois June Carrigan.
Bearers will be Michael Jones, Dwayne Jones, Neal Ron Trobaugh, Noel Don Trobaugh, Damian Ruston and Lee Ruston.
The family says those who wish may make memorials to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation for Cancer Research, 825 NE 13th, Oklahoma City, OK 73104-5097.

Mrs. Current died Sunday, April 19, 2009, at her home.
