McALESTER — Nick Giacomo, 96, McAlester, owner of Giacomo’s Italian Restaurant in McAlester, died Tuesday, April 28, 2009. Funeral services were Saturday, May 2, 2009 at 2 p.m. at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in McAlester.

MAUD — A wake for Edward Lee Factor, 72, Maud, is 7 p.m. Sunday, May 3, at High Springs Batist Church in Konawa. Funeral services are 1 p.m. Monday, May 4, at the church.
Bunny Carpitcher and Jimsey Harjo will officiate. Burial will follow at Factor Family Cemetery in Wolf.
Mr. Factor died Thursday, April 30, 2009, at an Ardmore hospital. He was born May 6, 1936, at Konawa to Timmie Ray Factor and Susie Mae Cummings Factor.
A life-long Seminole County resident, Mr. Factor was a Konawa High School graduate and a barber by trade. He was a member of High Springs Baptist Church and a former Council Member of the Tusekia Harjo Band.
Survivors include four sons, Rodney Factor, Wolf, Terry Factor, Ada, Paul Factor, Yukon, and Mark Factor, Ada; two daughters, Rita Loder, Ardmore, and Lori Factor, Tecumseh; one brother, Timmie Factor Jr., Shawnee; three sisters, Vera Mae Harjo, Wolf, Francina Johnson, Seminole, and Betty Harjo, Wolf; 17 grandchildren and 11 great -grandchildren; and a special friend, Geraldine Cloud, Konawa.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Timmie and Susie Factor, and two brothers, Roman and Glen Factor.
Bearers are Travis Hunter, Frank Lankford, Audie Lankford, Herman Foster, Keith Motley and Charles Burgess. The grandsons are honorary bearers.
Visitation will be at the funeral home on Saturday from 8:30 a.m. until 7 p.m. and on Sunday from 1-4 p.m.

MIKE HARBER
ROFF — Services for Michael Dewayne “Mike” Harber, 36, Roff, are 10 a.m. Monday at First Baptist Church in Ada, the Rev. Donnie Collins will officiate. Burial will follow at Lightning Ridge Cemetery.
Mr. Harber died Thursday, April 30, 2009, near Roff. He was born Aug. 17, 1972, at Pauls Valley to Jerry and Diana Wood Harber.
He attended Roff schools and graduated from Roff High School where he raised show steers and was active in Future Farmers of America Club.
He was a truck driver for Heartland Trading Company at Roff.
Survivors include two sons, Blake Harber, of the home and Derrick Manning and wife Sydney, Ada; his mother, Diana Moore and her husband Darrell, Roff; two brothers, Jeff Harber, Crescent, and Justin Cobb, Missouri; four sisters, Amanda Bonner and husband Lance, Ada, Trisha Pierce and husband Todd, Springdale, Ark., Charé Cobb, Roff, and Ashly Cobb, Oklahoma City; his grandmother, Wilma Wood, Roff; a special friend, Cindy Caldwell and her son, Billy Caldwell; one granddaughter, Caitlin Manning; and many of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Harber in 2004, and grandparents, Hester and Frank Harber and the Rev. James Wood.
Bearers will be Jeff Eldred, Tracy Keck, Keith Lynch, Mike Wells, Phillip Wood and James Wood Jr.

JENNIFER BOHANAN
ADA — Services for Jennifer Lea Bohanan, 35, Ada, are 11 a.m. Monday at Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Hazel Wallace officiating. Burial follows at Dixon Chapel Cemetery.
Mrs. Bohanan died Friday, May 1, 2009. She was born April 1, 1974, in Memphis, Tenn., to James and Anna Ward Box.
She attended school in Memphis, Tenn., and moved to this area in 1995 from Texas. She was a homemaker and employed at Flex-n-gate as a parts trimmer. She was a Baptist.
She married Mark Bohanan on March 19, 1999, in Ada.
Survivors include her husband, Mark Bohanan, of the home; two sons, Chris Spradlin, of the home, and Cody Box, of the home; three daughters, Megan Bohanan, of the home, Logan Bohanan, of the home, and Taylor Bohanan, of the home; father and mother, James and Anna Box, Henderson, Tenn.; a sister, Melissa Jester, Memphis, Tenn.; two brothers, Ricky Box, Henderson, Tenn., and John Box, Henderson, Tenn.; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Bearers are Steven Bear, Maxy Guinn, Randall Bohanan, Cebrane Wallace, Vincent Wallace and John Box. Honorary bearers are Gary Trent, JoJo Frazier and Jeremy Wallace.

TED SHELTON
ADA — Services for Ted John Shelton, 72, Ada, are 10 a.m. Tuesday at Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Randall Christy will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.
Mr. Shelton died Thursday, April 30, 2009, at a local hospital. He was born Jan. 10, 1937, at Chickasha to John Henry and Miniola Akins Shelton.
He attended Willard elementary school and Horace Mann High School.
He married Billie Bernice Lawson on March 17, 1960, at Durant. Mr. Shelton was the owner of Shelton Trucking for 35 years and was a Baptist.
Survivors include his wife, Billie Bernice Shelton, of the home; four sons, Terry Smith, Ricky Shelton, Wayne Shelton, and Tim Shelton; and three daughters, Kathy Heath, Karen Shelton, and Kim Shelton; 15 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; his mother-in-law, Omega Lawson; two brothers, Clell Shelton and Jerry Shelton; and three sisters, Violet Sliger, Sue Johnson and Bernadine O’Brien. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Bill Shelton and Bobby Shelton.
Bearers will be Jerry Shelton, Jeff Reed, Mark Reed, Daniel Cruz, Barry Hoevker, and Bobby Magar.

ADA — Graveside services for Marissa Nichole Marie Martin, infant daughter of Marty Lee Keith Martin and Shandi Lynn Fox are 2 p.m. Tuesday at Egypt Cemetery.
The infant was born April 25, 2009, at Oklahoma City. She died Monday, April 27, 2009. at an Oklahoma City hospital.
Survivors include her parents, Marty Lee Keith Martin and Shandi Lynn Fox, Ada; sister, Christina Kaie Fox; grandparents, Gary and Roxanne Fox, Ada, and Lori and Keith Martin, Eagle River, Alaska; grandparents, Don and Rose Sickel, Sherman, Texas, and Peggy and Jerry Sarrett, Stratford; and a great-grandfather, Leonard Martin, Anchorage, Alaska.
