'Boots' Stubblefield
NORMAN — Graveside services for Ellen Louise “Boots”Stubblefield, 85, Norman, are 2 p.m. Monday at Holdenville Cemetery.
She died Friday, May 1, 2009, in Norman. Mrs. Stubblefield was born April 11, 1924, in Holdenville toBert and Ellen Callahan McCully.
She married Thomas Edwin Stubblefield in Holdenville in 1944.
Mrs. Stubblefield was preceded in death by her husband, parents, 11 brother and sisters.
Survivors include two sons Tom Jr. and Paula Stubblefield of Beaumont, Texas, Joe and Terri Stubblefield of Norman; four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

EVA LEE WEST
ADA-Services for Eva Lee West, 90, Ada, are 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Ada Church of the Nazarene, her grandson Rev. Michael West will officiate. Burial follows at Holdenville Cemetery, Holdenville, Oklahoma.
Mrs. West died on Saturday, May 2, 2009, at a local hospital. She was born March 20, 1919, at Wister, Oklahoma, to Willis and Carrie Estes Baldwin. She attended school at Wister and graduated from Wister High School, and moved to the Ada area about 1938. She retired as a catalogue manager for J. C. Penney in Ada after working for several years, and was affiliated with the Ada Church of the Nazarene for many years.
She married Harold W. West on October 29, 1938. He preceded her in death on June 10, 1989.
Survivors include a son, Larry West and wife Paula, Ada; a grandson, Michael West, Ada; a granddaughter, Amy Mayhue, Ada; a sister, Geraldine Hammons, Wister; one great grandson, Jaymeson West; and two step great granddaughters, Caitlin and Jessie Spencer.
Bearers are George Hanson, John Floyd, Kent Lee, Arvie Myers, Joe Jenkins, Darrell Langwell and Nick Lee.

TISHOMINGO-Services for Roberta C. Harmon, 77, Tishomingo, formerly of Ada, are 3:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Criswell Chapel, Rev. Jacob Kleckner officiating. Burial follows at Oakman Cemetery.
Mrs. Harmon died on Saturday, May 2, 2009, at an Ardmore hospital. She was born December 20, 1931, in Ada to Marion Allen and Edna Tallwater Allen. She attended school at Oakman and moved back to this area in 1983 from Big Spring, Texas. She was a cook at the Village Inn, at South Side School near Altus, and also at various other restaurants. She had worked for the Salvation Army for 15 years and was a Baptist.
She married Johnny C. Robinson. She later married Bill C. Harmon in 1974 in Hollis, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death in August 1982.
Survivors include three sons and three daughters, Paula Augusta, Altus; Johnny Franklin Robinson and wife Pat, Clarita; Thomas R. Robinson, Tishomingo; Lucy Henderson, Carmel, Maine; Rebecca Hoy, Bangor, Maine; and Dennis Robinson and wife Jeanie, Latta; 11 grandchildren; and 23 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Toni V. Kastner, on December 6, 2007; her parents; and brothers and sisters, Marie Henry, Sue Wilson, John Allen, J. T. Allen, Faye Keene, Dorothy Turner and Richard Allen.

MARION MURPHY
STRATFORD — Services for Stratford resident Marion Murphy, 78, will be Tuesday, May 5, at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Stratford. Rev. Marvin Knox will officiate. Burial will follow at Memorial Park in Ada.
Mr. Murphy was born Nov. 9, 1930 in Fillmore, Okla. to N.B. and Emma (Carter) Murphy. He died May 2, 2009 at Ada.
Mr. Murphy married Betty (Goza) in Durant May 12, 1956. He and his wife operated Debbies Drive In for 24 years in Stratford. Mr. Murphy served in the United States Marine Corp and was a veteran of the Korean Conflict.
He was affiliated with First Baptist Church and a member of the Masonic Lodge No. 118 as a 32nd degree Mason. Mr. Murphy was also a charter member of the Stratford American Legion.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, two brothers and one great-grandson.
Survivors include his wife Betty Murphy of the home; two daughters, Ruth and husband Randy Stilwell of Crown Point Ind., and Debbie and husband Steve Whedbee of Stratford; one son, avid and wife Shari Murphy of Yukon, Okla.; four grandsons, Randy, John, Jeff and Trey; four granddaughters, Madeline, Debra, Amie and Myah; five great-grandsons, Bud, Carter, Owen, Gage and Joshua; five sisters and two brothers.
Bearers will be grandsons Randy Stilwell, John Stilwell, Jeff Stilwell, Trey Murphy, Randy Gilley, and Brian Jacobs. Honorary bearers include Clyde McCreary, Bo Dupree, J.D. Masters, Butch Bradley, Howard Briggs, Jefferson Keel and Doug Belt.
