BRUCE BUCKMASTER SR.

ADA — Memorial services for Bruce Burton Buckmaster Sr., 69, will be Saturday, May 9, at 11 a.m. at Harmony Free Will Baptist Church of Ada.

Mr. Buckmaster was born to Charles and Mary Buckmaster Sept. 30, 1939, in Akron, Ohio. He died April 20, 2009, at The Golden Living Center in Columbus Neb.

He married Sharon Marie Burkahart July 15, 1961.

Mr. Buckmaster is preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Rosie.

Survivors include four children, Judy Taylor of Latta, Gail Priest and husband Mike of Roff, Sandy Barrati and husband Kevin of Fremont, Calif., and Bruce Buckmaster Jr. and wife Jean of Schuyler, Neb.; 16 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two brothers, Watt and Jim; and sister Dorothy.

ARCHIE HAYNES

STRATFORD — Services for Archie Haynes, 99, Stratford, are 2 p.m. Friday, May 8, at Free Will Baptist Church of Stratford, the Rev. George Stone officiating. Burial follows at McGee Cemetery.

Mr. Haynes died May 5, 2009, at Ada. He was born Sept. 14, 1909, at Stratford, to Bill and Maud Moss Haynes.

He lived in the Stratford area all his life and worked as a farmer. He grew peaches and fresh vegetables and sold them at a peach stand north of Stratford.

He was preceded in death by his wife Pearl; a son, Weldon; and a daughter, Virginia.

Survivors include three grandsons, Larry Hinkle, Ponca City, Troy Hinkle, Hinton, and Doyle Haynes, Stratford; a granddaughter, Carla Burleson, Shawnee; 12 great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.

Bearers are Lonnie Hobson, Art Seahorn, Reagan Hightower, Barry Hinkle, Dewayne Hinkle and Melvin Hinkle.
