GARY MINK

SULPHUR — Services for Gary Doyle Mink, 54, will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church in Sulphur. Revs. Orville Cottrell and Steve Pope will be officiating. Burial will follow at Lewis Cemetery.

Mr. Mink was born Aug. 5, 1954 in Sulphur to Doyle J. and Mildred Pearl (Shackleford) Mink. He died May 9, 2009 at Midwest City. He lived in the Sulphur area all of his life, graduating from Sulphur High School in 1972.

Mr. Mink worked at the Oklahoma School for the Deaf for more than 34 years in the maintenance department. He served for 20 years in the Army National Guard, retiring in 1991 as Captain. Mr. Mink served on active duty in support of Desert Shield/Desert Storm. While in the service, Mr. Mink received several awards.

Mr. Mink married Arlene Cottrell July 24, 1999 in Sulphur. He was a member of the Cottrell Mission Holiness Church.

Mr. Mink is survived by his wife, Arlene Mink, Sulphur; three daughters, Marina and husband Rob Chew, Konawa, Tricia and husband Tracy Stephens of Ada, and Kaycee Mink, Stratford; two sons, Gary Doyle Mink II, Plano, Texas, Robert and wife Leslie Mink, Roff; parents Doyle and Mildred Mink, Kingston; three sisters, Tricia and husband Al Barnes, Norman, Vicky Adamson, Kingston, and Connie and husband Tim Braden, Auburn, Ala.; 13 grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Kylee Mink; Carlee, Abby and Vanessa Chew; Winter, Nyah, and Brandon Stephens; Jazmine, Mackinzee and C.J. Mink; Brayden and Jalynne Taylor.

Bearers will be Bill Hill, Robert Pierce, Keith Remer, Gary Allmon, Rick Kesler and Harvey Stinson. Honorary Bearers will be the maintenance department at Oklahoma School for the Deaf.

WYNNEWOOD — Services for Clifton T. Ziegenhorn Jr., 68, will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church in Wynnewood. Rev. Wayne Wall will officiate. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery in Wynnewood. Mr. Ziegenhorn was born March 16, 1941 at Earle, Ark. and died May 10, 2009 at Pauls Valley.

Mrs. Alford died Sunday, May 10, 2009 at her home.
