OKLAHOMA CITY — A memorial service for Michael Douglas McCord, 48, formerly of Ada, will be 4 p.m. Saturday at Joy of Jesus Christian Center, 330 SW 104th Street in Oklahoma City.
Mr. McCord died May 12, 2009, at OU Medical Center, Oklahoma City. He was born in Ada May 10, 1961, to Gloria and Douglas McCord.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Gloria McCord and grandparents, Calvin and Georgia McCord of Ada.
Survivors include two children, Calvin Thomas McCord and Nickie McCord, Fort Worth. Texas; father, Douglas McCord, Norman; two brothers Marty McCord, currently working in Iraq, and Matthew McCord, Cocoa Beach, Fla.
