ALLEN — Services for Clemmie Lucile Iker, 95, Allen, are 10 a.m. Tuesday at Allen First Baptist Church, the Revs. Buddy Johnson and Chad Kaminski will officiate. Burial will follow at Allen Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the Allen Chapel from 3 p.m. Sunday until service time.
Mrs. Iker died Thursday, May 21, 2009, at an Allen nursing home. She was born April 10, 1914, at Bromide, Okla., to the Rev. W. H. Holley and Lizzie Dorthula Baldwin Holley.
She attended Bromide, Ada and Kingfisher schools. Mrs. Iker was a homemaker and attended Allen First Baptist Church.
She married Ira L. Iker on Dec. 4, 1929, at Ada. Mr. Iker died Feb. 16, 1989, at Allen.
Survivors include four daughters, Joan Roach, Ada, Barbara Schulze, Florida, Frances Nelson, Ada, and Jeanie Davis, Ada; four sons, James Iker, Ada, Ira L. Iker Jr., Allen, Leonard Iker, Allen, and Phillip Iker, Calvin; a sister, Willie Inez Herring, Ada; 12 grandchildren; a number of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Judith Woodall; two brothers, Arthur and Jack; and one sister, Leona.
Bearers will be Donnie Huffstutlar, David Byrd, Roy Snider, Jearl Knighten, Dennis Sappenfield, and Kenny Shires.
Honorary bearers will be Hank Deaton, Donald Johnson, Ruben Huffstutlar Jr. and Frank Huffstutlar.

FRANCIS — Funeral services for Dessie Mae Young, 85, Francis, will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 26, 2009, at Centrahoma Baptist Church in Centrahoma. Burial follows at Centrahoma Cemetery. Officiating will be the Rev. Steve DeShazo and assisting will be Susie Masterson.
Mrs. Young died Friday May 22, 2009, at her home in Francis. She was born June 17, 1923, at Byars to Richard and Iva Mae Richardson Clay.
Her first husband Loyd Meeks died early in life. She then married Coy O’neal Young. He also preceded her in death.
Mrs. Young was a longtime area resident moving from Wynnewood in 1950. She was of the Baptist faith and a homemaker.
Survivors include two sons, Loyd Dewayne Meeks, Lexington, and Coy O’neal Young II and wife Wanda, Ada; four daughters, Kathie Smith and her husband Val of Fittstown, Judy Golden of Francis, Connie Guy and her husband Gary of Francis, Peggy Brown and her husband David of Francis; and one step-son, Hubert McCarty and wife Diane of Ector, Texas; and raised Jessica and Cody Davis of Wynnewood; 28 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and numerous great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husbands: Loyd Meeks and Coy O’neal Young; one son, Jackie Lee Meeks; one daughter, Martha Mae Young; and all her brothers and sisters, parents.
Bearers are Val Smith, Gary Guy, Connie Guy, Coy Young II, Bill Davis and Billy Shores.

STRATFORD — Services for Oleta Evelyn Jones, 84, Stratford, are 10 a.m. Monday, May 25, at Pickard Funeral Home Chapel, Stratford, officiated by the Rev. Earl Blakenship and the Rev. Joe Swint. Burial follows at McGee Cemetery, Stratford.
Mrs. Jones died May 21, 2009, at Ada. She was born March 1, 1925, at Chism, Okla., to Frank and Ora E. Blankenship McCuistion.
He married Rufus Esco Jones at Stratford, Oct. 4, 1961.
She was a homemaker, minister and played the piano at her church in Maxwell. She lived her life in the Stratford area.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Rufus; a sister, Betty Jennings; and a brother, Roland McCuistion.
Bearers are Jesse Jones, Jason Chronister, Danny Weaver, Steve Weaver, Jeff Mulliniks and Allen Jones.
Survivors include a son, Bruce Jones and wife, Ruth, Stratford; a granddaughter, Tammy Chronister and husband Jason, Stratford; a grandson, Jesse Jones, Stratford; and one great-granddaughter, Delaney Chronister, Stratford.

GLENN SMITH
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Services for Glenn Thomas Smith, 74, Albuquerque, N.M., were April 13 at Hoffmantown Baptist Church in Albuquerque.
He died April 8, 2009. He was born May 4, 1934, at Roff, Okla., to Glenn and Beulah Mae Smith.
A resident of Albuquerque since 1966, Mr. Smith graduated from Ada High School, Ada, Okla., in 1953 and later joined the Marine Corps.
Survivors include his wife Martha; daughter Stephney Wasilewski and husband Alan of Ansonia, Conn.; son Quinn Fisher Smith and wife Meredith; and grandchildren Quinn C. and Emma Smith all of Albuquerque; sister Anna Lee Langenberg and husband Robert of Montgomery, Ala.; brother James Smith and wife Debbie of Choctaw, Okla.; uncles and aunts, Ted Smith from Stonewall, Okla., Mary Jo Green of Ada, Edna Hernandez, Jeannette Mitchell of El Reno, Okla., and Edna Hernandez of California and Cherrye Lucas of Maryland.
Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his parents Glenn and Beulah Mae Smith.
