J.D. WILMOTH
ADA - Memorial service for Jerry “J.D.” Wilmoth of Ada will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, June 6, 2009 at Smith-Phillips Funeral Home in Ada. Officiating will be Mrs. Vicki Pettigrew.
Mr. Wilmoth died Tuesday, June 2, 2009 at Integris Baptist Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK at the age of 65. He was born April 18, 1944 in Ada, OK to Jack Wilmoth and Lola Bernice Rogers. He married Gloria Jean Pettigrew on August 20, 1962 in Ada, OK.
Mr. Wilmoth worked in the oil field industry as a tool pusher for many years. He was a lifelong resident of Ada.
Mr. Wilmoth is survived by his wife Gloria Wilmoth of the home; one son: Jerry Don Wilmoth, Jr. of Ada, OK; two daughters: Kristi Wilmoth and her husband Tony Jeffers of Ada and Monica Blue of Ada; one sister: Jeanette Nelson of Ada; and five grandchildren: John, Zack, and Tyler Wilmoth, Kylie Wilmoth-Jeffers, and Cessli Jeffers.
He was preceded by his mother: Lola Bernice Stephens; and one brother: Wendell Wilmoth.

BYERS — Services for Matthew Edmond Lewis, 36, Ada, will be 2 p.m. Saturday at the Dixon Cemetery Chapel south of Byars. Mr. Lewis was born Aug. 8, 1972 and died June 2, 2009.

WAYNE JONES
ADA-Graveside services for Harold Wayne Jones, 73, Ada, are 11:00 a.m. Friday at Oakwood Cemetery in Wewoka, Rev. Bob Payne will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Criswell Funeral Home.
Mr. Jones died Wednesday, June 3, 2009 at a local hospital. He was born February 6, 1936 in Hughes County, Oklahoma to George H. and Daisy Kersey Jones. He graduated from Butner High School near Wewoka.
He married Wanda Brewer April 15, 1955. Mr. Jones retired as a heat treater for Cameron Iron Works in Houston where he worked for many years. He and his family returned to this area in 1996 from Houston, Texas and he was affiliated with Colbert Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Wanda Jones, of the home; one son, Christopher Jones and wife Moira, Houston, TX; two daughters, Brenda Morrison and husband Barry, Alvin, TX and Beverly Wylie, Cut-n-Shoot, TX; five brothers, Garland Jones and wife Hazel, California, Ken Jones and wife Frances, Houston, TX, Roland Jones and wife Margie, Wewoka, Mel Jones and wife Glenna, Shawnee, and David Jones and wife Linda, Wewoka; two sisters, Oleda Newman, Wewoka and Imogene Davis and husband Bob, Choctaw; four grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and numerous cousins,nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by three sisters, Velma Saltzman, Ann Totten and Alta Parker.

EUGENE NAIL
TECUMSEH — Services for Eugene L. Nail, 76, Asher, will be 2 p.m. Friday, June 5, at Oil Center Pentecostal Holiness Church with Glenn Eaves, Eugene Snow and Cary Gerth officiating. Burial will follow at Wanette Cemetery.
Mr. Nail was born June 24, 2932 in Wanette, Okla., to George and Bessie (Wallace) Nail. He died Tuesday, June 2, 2009 at Norman.
He was a lifelong resident of Asher where he married his wife, Pauline Bentley, Nov. 13, 1952. He served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict.
Mr. Nail worked in the oil field. He later went to work at Tinker Air Force Base, where he retired in 1988. He then worked in maintenance for Asher Public Schools for 10 years. Along with his wife, they raised cattle in Asher.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, James and Clayton Nail.
Survivors include his wife of the home; sons, Ronny Nail and wife Peggy of Asher, and Tim Nail and wife Deana of Asher; daughter Lynette Payne and husband Jesse of Tecumseh; sister Geneva Franklin and husband Cecil of McMinnville, Oregon; brother Glenn Nail and wife Helen of Wanette; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
