MATTHEW LEWIS
BYARS — Services for Matthew Edmond Lewis, 36, Ada, will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Dixon Cemetery Chapel south of Byars. Mr. Lewis was born Aug. 8, 1972 in Lawton to Edmond and Bernice Lewis and died June 2, 2009.
Mr. Lewis is preceded in death by his father, Edmond John Lewis, and sister Charlotte Jane Lusty.
Survivors include his mother Bernice, brother John Patty, sister Faith King, sister Deanna Lewis, brother Marcus Lewis and numerous other relatives and friends.

SULPHUR — Graveside services for Dorothy Lee Turner, 85, Sulphur will be today at 3 p.m. at Oaklawn Cemetery in Sulphur. Ms. Turner died June 2, 2009 at Sulphur.

ADA — Funeral Services for Herbert Byrd, 95, will be 1 p.m. Saturday, June 6, at Pickard Funeral Home Chape lwith Tony Folger and Ted McCarley officiating. Burial will follow at McGee Cemetery in Stratford. Mr. Byrd died June 3, 2009.

GAAR CORNER — Services for Henry Waters, 91, Gaar Corner, are pending with Criswell Funeral Home. Mr. Waters died Friday, June 5, 2009 at a local hospital.

ARLIS RING
ADA — Services for Arlis Robert “Pud” Ring, 87, Ada, are 2 p.m. Saturday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Tom Akin will officiate. Burial will follow at Lula Cemetery.
Mr. Ring died Wednesday, June 3, 2009 at his home. He was born July 21, 1921 at Blanchard, Oklahoma to Jesse Lee and Margaret McCurdy Ring. He and his family moved to the Allen area when he was fifteen years old. He attended area schools and Gerty High School.
He married Pauline Rowe July 3, 1941 in Allen, Oklahoma. Mr. Ring was a truck driver for Wilson and Company in Oklahoma City for 29 years and a rancher.
Survivors include his wife, Pauline Ring, of the home; one daughter, Retha Jean Warner and husband Phillip, Garfield, Ark.; two sons, Robert Mark Ring, Bella Vista, Ark. and Bradley Mitchell Ring and wife Rebecca, Bella Vista, Ark.; three grandsons, Robert Ring, Jeffrey Walker, and Joseph Mowdy; seven granddaughters, Susan Richardson, Pauline Elmer, Stephanie McCleskey, Candy Short, Ellen Dry, Milea Ring, and JoAnn Turner; 12 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and three nephews, Billy Don Ring, Jesse Ring, and Ronald David Ring, all of Oklahoma City.
Bearers will be Chad Short, Ray Dry, Larry Johnson, Ricky Johnson, Richard Roland, and Ezekial Roland.
