DELLA BARTOLINA
HENRYETTA — Services for Della Christina Bartolina, 95, Henryetta, are 2 p.m. Friday, June 19, 2009, at Schulter Baptist Church. Officiating will be the Revs. George Christy and Mike Odell. Burial will be at Westlawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Bartolina was born March 15, 1914, in Coalton, Okla., to Della Junior and Clement Bezinque. She died June 16, 2009, at Henryetta.
She was married to Felix Orson Bartolina. She was a business owner.
Mrs. Bartolina was preceded in death by her father, Clement Bezinque; mother, Della Bezinque Mosler; stepfather, Jack Mosler; two sisters, Clara Bezinque Noel and Clementine Bezinque; husband, Felix Bartolina; son, Lester Felix Bartolina; and son-in-law, Paul Morton.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Cliff Baker, Schulter; two sons, Donald Gene and wife Darlene Bartolina, Edmond, Bobby and Karen Bartolina, Morgantown, W.Va.; two daughters, Linda Morton of the home, Marilyn and Wayne McElhannon, Ada; extended family, Dolores Merciez and Debbie Wells, Pleasant Valley, Okla.; special friend and caregiver, Mary Ellen Berryhill; 23 grandchildren, Becky and Gary Baker, Schulter Ronnie and Dianne Bartolina, Schulter, Terri and Mark Kirk, Edmond, Jeff and Kathy Hart, Edmond, Rob and Annette Bartolina, Redlands, Calif., Scott and Erica Bartolina, Hammond, La., Scott and Cheryl Burks, Schulter, Pam and Brad Pippin, Hampstead, N.C., Jeryl and Martin Johnston, Morgantown, W. ADA — Graveside services for Gladys LaVeta Smith, 94, Ada, are 1 p.m. Monday at I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Ponca City, The Rev. George Carson officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Criswell Funeral Home.
Mrs. Smith died Thursday, June 18, 2009, at a local nursing home. She was born March 23, 1915, at Wetumka to Zac and Annie Susan Miller Martin.
She graduated from Wetumka High School. She retired as a unit secretary from Valley View Hospital and also owned and operated a beauty shop. She was a member of Abundant Life Tabernacle.
She married Noel Cleo Smith on March 19, 1932. He died May 8, 1967 in Ada.
Survivors include a sister, LaVera Martin Updike, Grove; one brother, Zac Leon Martin, Ponca City; seven grandchildren, Steven Noel Foley, Longmeadow, Mass.; Jeff Smith, Eufaula; William T. “Bill” Foley, Ada; Jennifer Kubiak, Kansas City; Mark Foley, Rhode Island; Neidra Foley Young, Ada; and Kemetia Foley Drinkard, Springfield, Va.; 23 great-grandchildren; 16 great-great-grandchildren; one great-great-great-grandchild; and a special niece, Kris Thompson.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Patty K. Foley; a son, Noel T. Smith; and two brothers, Delbert Hal Martin and LaVoy Martin.

NORMAN — Services for Rebecca Faye Martin Nelson, 55, Norman, formerly of the Ada area are 2 p.m. Saturday at Blue Baptist Church at Connerville, the Rev. Gayland Cannon will officiate. Burial will follow at Seeley Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Friday at Criswell Funeral Home.
Mrs. Nelson died Thursday, June 18, 2009, in Norman. She was born April 14, 1954, at Talihina, Okla., to R.J. and Delilah Collins Martin.
She graduated from high school and attended Cameron University in Lawton for two years. She moved to Norman 16 years ago from Lawton and had also lived in Ada.
She married Franklin Dee Nelson Jr. He died Dec. 13, 2007.
Mrs. Nelson was a homemaker and a member of Faith Abundant Worship Center in Norman.
Survivors include three daughters, Keri Hamman, Norman, Margie Johnson, Indiana, and Rachel Nelson, South Dakota; one son, James Nelson, Missouri; numerous grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and one brother, Barney Spain, Ada.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Delilah Johnson; her step-father, Ervin Johnson; one brother, Anthony Reed; and a nephew, Anthony Reed Jr.
Bearers will be Glen Roy Bralley, David Poe, Leo Poe, Mike Reed, Andrew Timmons and Willie Timmons. Honorary bearers will be her nephews.

CINDI SANDERS
SEVERN, Md. — Graveside services for Cindi Sanders, 51, Severn, Md., formerly of Ada and Del City, Okla., are 11 a.m. Saturday at Maxwell Cemetery near Ada. Darrell Phillips and Kendall Martin will officiate.
Ms. Sanders died Monday, June 15, 2009, at a Baltimore, Md., hospital. She was born April 3, 1958, at Coalgate, Okla., to Jerry and Joy Lane Thacker.
She attended Del City schools and graduated from Del City High School in 1976. Ms. Sanders was a homemaker and lived most of her life in the Oklahoma City area and the last eight years in Baltimore.
Survivors include her daughter, Shannon Sanders, Stratford, Okla.; a granddaughter, Alexa Guy, Stratford; her mother, Joy Hatfield, Midwest City, Okla.; one sister, Beverly McGill, Midwest City; a brother, Todd Thacker, Midwest City; nephews, Britton McGill, Del City, and Brandon Thacker, Norman, Okla.; aunts, Wyleta Gray, Phoenix, Ariz., and Dottie Merritt, Corpus Christi, Texas; uncles, John Lane, Broken Arrow, Okla., and Judson Thacker; and cousins, Danny, Mike and Stanley Gray and Ward Merritt.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jerry Thacker, a grandson, Ryan Christopher Guy; brother, Del Thacker; and grandparents, J.S. and Elva Lane and J.C. and Ruth Thacker.
Bearers will be Patrick Sanders, Christopher Guy, Kelly Snapp, Richard Hedges, Britton McGill, and Loyd Weathers. Honorary bearers will be John Lane, Todd Thacker and Dale Morrall.

KENNETH FAULKENBERRY
ADA — Graveside services for Kenneth Wayne Faulkenberry, 69, Ada, are 10 a.m. Saturday at Memorial Park Cemetery, the Rev. Earl Hood will officiate.
Mr. Faulkenberry died Thursday, June 18, 2009, at his home. He was born Aug. 4, 1939, at Ontario, Calif., to Lester and Pauline Yarberry Faulkenberry.
He attended school in Ontarion, Calif.
Mr. Faulkenberry was a general laborer most of his life and had served in the U.S. Air Force.
Survivors include two sons, Dennis Faulkenberry, Miami, Okla., and Lonnie Faulkenberry, Miami, Okla.; his mother, Pauline Faulkenberry, Ada; two sisters, Karen Skibsted and her husband John, Ada, and Barbara Horton, and friend, Richard McFerren, Eufaula; and a brother, Mike Faulkenberry and his wife Lawanna, Guthrie.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lester Faulkenberry; and his grandparents, W.C. and Maudie Faulkenberry and Allen and Della Yarberry.
