DOUG CURTIS
GREAT FALLS, Mont. — Services for Harold Douglas "Doug" Curtis, 82, Great Falls, Mont., were Saturday, June 21, 2008, at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Great Falls Stake Center. Burial followed at Highland Cemetery.
Mr. Curtis died June 14, 2008, at a Great Falls care center. He was born June 9, 1926, in Ahloso, Okla.
Mr. Curtis was a World War II Navy veteran and founder of Curtis Hardwood Flooring. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many leadership positions.
In 1951, he married Betty Jo Butts.
Survivors include his his wife, Betty Jo Curtis , Great Falls; his four children, Susan Lynn (Fred) Fairhurst of Great Falls, Steven Douglas (Susan) Curtis of Lake Elsinore, Calif., Janet Lea Anderson of Austin, Texas, and Jim Laughlin (Kati) Curtis of Boise, Idaho; sisters Wanda Wilson of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Ruby Jane Brumley of Ada, Okla.; as well as 14 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Kathy Ann Curtis., and two sisters, Mae F. Fanucchi and Betty Curtis Kunhart.

STRATFORD — Services for Marjorie Anne McCarter, 80, Stratford, are 2 p.m. today at Church of Christ in Stratford. Pat Peters and BillJones are officiating. Burial follows at Allen Cemetery.
Mrs. McCarter died June 24, 2008, at her home. She was born Jan. 7, 1928, at Atwood to Othor Trilby and Margaret L. Bell Stallings.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ. She moved to Stratford 14 years ago from Union Valley.
She married Jack Charles McCarter at Stonewall Oct. 25, 1945.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Margaret and Othor Stallings, Clarence Miller, husband Jack McCarter, brother Bob Stallings, sister Jimmie Rose, and son-in-law Tony Leaverton.
Survivors include four daughters, Anne Leaverton, Terri Lee Hill, Linda and husband Bill Jones, Dena Turner, all of Stratford; a brother, Larry Stallings, California; two sisters, Joan Martin and Wanda Muranishi, both of California; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Bearers will be Paul Paul Benson, Steve Gallup, Chuck Jones, Don Brown, Bob Passmore and Odis Lewelling. Honorary bearers will be Michael Jones, Larry Stallings and Bill Martin.

ADA — Services for Curtis James Wilson Sr., 59, Ada, are 10 a.m. Saturday at Central Church of Christ, Bill Carroll will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery. The Tinker Air Force Base Honor Guard will conduct military honors at the cemetery.
Mr. Wilson died Wednesday, June 25, 2008, at his home. He was born Aug. 9, 1948, at Sasakwa to Raymond and Ester Payne Wilson.
He attended Konawa schools and graduated from Konawa High School. He was a lifelong resident of this area.
He married Debbie Stewart June 5, 1971, at Snyder, Texas.
Mr. Wilson was an oilfield frac supervisor for Basic Energy Services. He was affiliated with the Assembly of God Church and had served in the U. S. Air Force from 1968-1971.
Survivors include his wife, Debbie Wilson, of the home; two sons, Curtis Wilson Jr. and wife Marisa, Ada, and Kevin Wilson and wife Kimber, Ada; one daughter, Krystal Joplin and husband Brett, Ada; seven grandchildren, Kendal, Reagan and London Wilson, Brendle and Ty Wilson, and Wilson and Beau Joplin; a brother, Frank Wilson and wife LouNell, Konawa; and sisters, Leta and Johnny Gibson, Salem, Ore., Leona and Charles Hudson, Maud, Jane Russell, Houma, La., Ruth and Roger Fitzgerald, Fredericksburg, Va., Patsy and Tom Baxter, Purcell, and Margaret Brown, Konawa.
Bearers will be Brian Russell, Frank Wilson, Jr., Bobby Hudson, Danny Bruton, Johnny Wilson, Seth Carroll, Chaz Lumley, and Brandon Parks. Honorary bearers will be all his nieces and nephews.
