JOSIE ROLLINS
NORMAN — Private family services for Anna Josephine “Josie” Rollins, 70, Norman will be held at a later date.
Mrs. Rollins died Sunday, June 28, 2009, at her daughter’s home in Ada. She was born Nov. 16, 1938, at Corbet, Okla., to Walter C. and Polly Ann Slaughter Berry.
She graduated from Noble High School and attended business college in Oklahoma City.
Mrs. Rollins was a social worker for the Cleveland County Department of Human Services for more than 20 years. She was an active member of the Alameda Church of Christ in Norman.
She married Don Lee Rollins. He died in March 2006.
Survivors include two sons, Jeff Rollins and wife Robin, Ada, and Jimmy Rollins and wife Elizabeth, Noble; one daughter, Jena Tignor and husband Jimmy, Ada; two sisters, Nettie Tamez, Noble and Katherine Dodge, Washington; eight grandchildren, Jenni, Josh, Jimmy Lee, Jimmy Don, Jeb, Anna, Tessa, and Tad; six great-grandchildren, Kaleb, Raylee, Max, Jett, Reid and Sofie.
The family says those who wish may make memorials to the Ada Family Hospice Foundation, 117 S. Broadway, Ada, OK 74820.
