NATE BURRIS
ADA-Services for Nathan Allan Burris, 20, Ada, are 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church, Rev. Tony Folger will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.
Mr. Burris died Friday, June 27, 2008. He was born August 19, 1987 at Ada, Oklahoma to Keith and Sheila Saye Burris. He lived in the Ada area all his life. He attended Homer school and graduated from Byng High School in 2006. He was a member of the 2004 Byng Baseball State Champions, and active in the Byng FFA. Nate was a customer service representative for Pre-paid Legal Services and attended Fittstown Baptist Church.
Survivors include his parents, Keith and Sheila Burris, of the home; a sister, Megan Burris, of the home; paternal grandparents, Nathan and Lois Burris, Ada; a maternal grandmother, Sandra Saye, Ada; many aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives and friends.
Bearers will be the Happyland Volunteer Fire Department, Mike Boisenin, Freddy Hopper, Dan West, Claude Bess, Keith Buelow, and David Piercy. Honorary bearers will be Tanner Pogue, Mitchell Smith, Robbie Balthrop, Ryan Cornell, Chris “Cliffy” Olinger, Mark Attebery, T. W. Estes, Isaac Vandever, and the Byng Class of 2006.

J. B. CORVIN
ADA-Services for J. B. Corvin, 87, Ada, are 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Jimmy Keith will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery. The Chickasaw Honor Guard will conduct military honors at the cemetery.
Mr. Corvin died Sunday, June 29, 2008 at his home. He was born July 8, 1920 at Pickett, Oklahoma to Joseph B. and Jessie May Bennett Corvin. He lived in this area all his life and attended Pickett and Vanoss schools.
He married Jewel Southerland on July 3, 1943 in Ada, Oklahoma. Mr. Corvin was employed with Ideal Cement, retiring after 36 years of service. He was a member of the First Assembly of God church for 60 years, serving as treasurer and deacon for many years and he and his wife were active in the VFW and Good Sam’s RV clubs. Mr. Corvin served in the U. S. Army during World War II in many Pacific operations including the occupation of Iwo Jima.
Survivors include his wife, Jewel Corvin, of the home; a daughter, Norma Joyce Smith and husband Mack, Union Valley; a son, Johnny B. Corvin, Jenks; a grandchild, Amy Smith, Oklahoma City; and a half-brother, Rev. Gerald Wayne Cox, Farris.
He was preceded in death by brothers, Craig Corvin, Jess Corvin, and Andrew Tate, and a sister, Lavene Westmoreland.
Bearers will be Bryan Roark, Phillip McNeill, Ernie Staggs, David Daffern, Sylvester Gibson, and Rev. Justin Wilson.

SULPHUR — Services for Keatha A. Cagle, 65, will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 2, 2008 at Vinita Avenue Church of Christ in Sulphur. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery in Sulphur.
Cagle died Sunday, June 29, 2008 in Sulphur.

WANDA DUKE
ADA — Services for Wanda Sites Duke of Ada will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 1 at Crosspointe Church in Ada. Interment will follow at Rosedale Cemetery. Rev. Shawn Wiebers will be officiating. Family is to welcome friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Monday for visitation.
Mrs. Duke died Saturday June, 28, 2008 at Valley View Hospital in Ada at the age of 76. She was born Oct. 26, 1931 in Frederick, Okla. to Ed and Ida Jo Carroll Dunn. She married Richard Sites Nov. 26, 1962 in Ada. Mr. Sites died July 5, 1994. Mrs. Duke would later marry Bill Duke Nov. 9, 2003.
Mrs. Duke was a lifelong resident of Ada. She graduated from Ada High School and was a longtime member of the Crosspointe Church.
She is survived by her husband Bill Duke of the home; two sons, Mark McGuire and his wife Judy of Oktaha, Okla., and Richard Sites and his wife Jacquita of Davis; one daughter, Shelley Whitecotton and her husband Joe of Shawnee; one sister Virginia Thompson and her husband Hank of Ada; eight grandchildren, David McGuire, Brad McGuire, Mark Whitecotton, Jason Whitecotton, Reneé Sites, Robin Sledd, Richard Sites II, Sandy Landers; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Duke is preceded in death by her first husband, Richard Sites, her mother Ida Jo Summers, and one son Jimmy Sites.
Pallbearers will be David McGuire, Brad McGuire, Greg Taylor, Rich Sites and Kim Duke.
