INEZ STEGALL
ADA — Services for Opal Inez Stegall, 95, Ada, will be 1 p.m. on Friday, July 11, 2008, at Covenant Cumberland Presbyterian Church. The Revs. Norlan Scrudder, John Lovelace and Linda Snelling will officiate. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be at Criswell Funeral Home today from 5-8 p.m.?
Mrs. Stegall died Tuesday, July 8, 2008. She was born Sept. 22, 1912, at Asher, to John Grover and Flora Stevenson Lovelace.
She and her family moved to Latta in 1926 from Stonewall. She attended school at Jesse and graduated from Latta High School in 1930. She attended East Central State Teacher’s College, where she received her teaching certificate.
Mrs. Stegall taught first and second grade at Pleasant Hill School in 1932. She later taught at Latta schools. Mrs. Stegall was a charter member of Latta Cumberland Presbyterian Church since 1932. Being married to a pastor, Mrs. Stegall served as a pastor’s wife for churches in Muskogee, and Clinton on three different occasions. She was always active in the churches teaching Sunday school and playing the piano. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star. During retirement, Mrs. Stegall lived in Mesa, Ariz., before returning to Ada.
She married Malcolm Linley “Mac” Stegall in 1934 at Ada. He died March 28, 1997. She was also preceded in death by a son, Jerry Mac Stegall, in February1986.?
Survivors include two brothers, Joe Lovelace, Ada, and John Lovelace and his wife Joyce, Evansville, Ind.; two sisters, Helen Cooper, Ada, and Bobbie Battle and her husband Leroy, Fort Worth, Texas; and several nieces and nephews.
?Bearers are Brandon Bolin, James Cruson, Randy Davidson, Bill Medlock, Roger Strong, and Larry Young.? Honorary bearers are Clark Hibbard, Ray Quiett, Dale Taylor, and good friend Juanita Meacham.
The family requests that any gifts honoring Mrs. Stegall be made to the Covenant Cumberland Presbyterian Church Building Fund, PO Box 880, Ada, OK 74821.

DEL THACKER
WACO, Texas — Graveside services for Delbert Jerome “Del” Thacker Jr., 51, Waco, are 2 p.m. Friday at Maxwell Cemetery, the Rev. Kendall Martin will officiate.
Mr. Thacker died Sunday, July 6, 2008, at his home. He was born March 22, 1957, at Oklahoma City to Delbert J. and Hazel Joy Lane Thacker.
He graduated from Del City High School in Del City, Okla. He was a certified E.M.T., was a welder and a web page designer. He was of the Baptist faith and had served in the U. S. Marine Corps.
Survivors include his mother, Joy Hatfield, Midwest City; two sisters, Cindi Sanders, Severn, Md., and Beverly Hill, Midwest City; a brother, Todd Thacker, Midwest City; a grandmother, Elva Lane, Midwest City; and children, Brandon Thacker, Norman, Amy and Dillon, Bonham, Texas; two aunts, Wyleta Gray, Phoenix, Ariz., and Dotti Merritt, Corpus Christi, Texas; and uncles, John Lane, Broken Arrow, and Judson Thacker, Missouri.
He was preceded in death by his father, Delbert Jerome Thacker Sr., his grandfather, J.S. Lane, and grandparents, Ruth and J. C. Thacker.

IMOGENE RAINS
OKLAHOMA CITY?—?Graveside services for Imogene Rains, 84, Oklahoma City, formerly of the Stonewall area, are 10 a.m. Saturday at Highland Cemetery in Stonewall, Don Hoover officiating.
Mrs. Rains died Wednesday, July 9, 2008, at an Oklahoma City hospital. She was born June 25, 1924, at Stratford to Thomas and Edna McKeel Wise.
She attended school at Stonewall. She lived in Oklahoma City for many years and was affiliated with the Church of Christ.
Survivors include a daughter, Ruth Dejarnette and husband Mark, Oklahoma City; three sons, Samuel Rains and wife Mary, Oklahoma City; Phillip Rains and wife Cathy, Oklahoma City; and Mark Rains and wife Linda, Atoka; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
The family says those who wish may make memorials to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation for Parkinson's Disease Research, 825 NE 13th Street, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73104-9930.
