BOBBIE SUMMERS
ADA — Graveside services for Bobbie Dean Summers, 82, Ada, are 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 22, at Egypt Cemetery, Ada. Officiating will be the Rev. George Carson.
Ms. Summers died Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2008, at Ada. She was born Aug. 4, 1926, at Egypt to Holida Myers and Maggie Martin Myers.
Ms. Summers graduated in 1945 from Fitzhugh High School in Fitzhugh. She attended Conners State College for one year on a basketball scholarship. She worked as a telephone operator for Southwestern Bell for many years. She was a member of College Heights Baptist Church and was a lifelong resident of Ada.
Survivors include two sons, Terry Summers and his family of Ada, and Steve Summers and his family of Ada; a sister, Ann Wood; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Holida and Maggie Myers; three brothers, Gene, Joe and James Myers; and three sisters, Edith Clark, Muriel O'Brien and Edna Myers.

MURDO, S.D. — Graveside services for Roy Keith Long Jr., 53, Murdo, S.D., are 11 a.m. Friday at St. Peter Lutheran Cemetery, south of Midland. Mr. Long died Aug. 19, 2008, at Rapid City, S.D.
Arrangements are with the Rush Funeral Home of Philip, South Dakota.

ADA — Services for Thelma Dale Neugin Spain, 83, Ada, are 10 a.m. Friday at Morris Memorial Baptist Church, the Rev. Gary Jamar will officiate. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Neugin Spain died Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2008, at an Oklahoma City hospital. She was born Aug. 8, 1925, at Hulbert, Okla., to John Theodore and Ruth Freeman Pitts.
She attended Hulbert schools and moved to this area many years ago from Hulbert.
She married Henry Neugin on Nov. 14, 1941, in Tahlequah. He preceded her in death in 1982. She later married Wesley Spain. He preceded her in death.
Mrs. Neugin Spain was formerly employed at Solo Cup Company and Bama Pie Factory and was a homemaker. She was a member of Morris Memorial Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Jimmy Neugin and wife Elaine, Ada, and Floyd Neugin and wife Kai, Fittstown; a brother, Bobby Borden; five grandchildren, Jimmy Neugin, Terry Neugin, Eric Neugin, Krig Neugin, and Ashley Fennell; and five great-grandchildren.
Bearers will be Chris Rigsby, J.B. Bolin, Bill Bolin, Don Turley, Krig Neugin and Ted Townsend.
