EULAH HICKS
ADA — Services for Eulah Lee Tate “Hebe” Williams Hicks, 85, Ada, are 2 p.m. Monday at Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Mickey Keith will officiate. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Hicks died Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2009, at a local nursing home. She was born Oct. 30, 1923, at Cowtown, Okla., to Albert and Bessie Irene Hodges Tate.
She lived in this area all her life. Mrs. Hicks was employed at several restaurants in the area. She was a member of Calvary Pentecostal Holiness Church.
She married Lenard Franklin Williams in Oklahoma City. He preceded her in death. She later married Cecil Hicks. He preceded her in death in Checotah.
Survivors include a son, Lois Preston Williams, California; four step-children, Diana Hicks, Konawa, Linda Elaine, Jonathan Hicks, and C.J. Hicks; seven grandchildren, Sherry Williams, Joseph Williams, both of Ada, James Williams, Ardmore and Shelia Lyon, Ada, Effie Williams, Melinda Chick, Byng, Dessie Williams, Tucson, Ariz.; numerous great-grandchildren; and other family members.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Lenard Franklin Williams, her second husband, Cecil Hicks, a sister, Beulah Scates, a nephew, Paul Scates, two sisters-in-law, a granddaughter, Della Marie Williams, a grandson, Thomas Andrew Chick, several children, a stepson, Lewis Edward “Ted” Williams, and three brothers-in-law.
Bearers will be Steve Lyon, Thomas Wayne Chick, Thomas Criswell, Franklin Chick and Joe Williams. Honorary bearers will be Lois Preston Williams and James Franklin Williams.

KONAWA — Services for Deanna Carol Blackwood Everhart, 64, Konawa, are 11 a.m. Wednesday at Vamoosa Baptist Church.
Burial follows at Vamoosa Cemetery.
Visitation will be 1-5 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 23, 2009, at Swearingen Funeral Home, Konawa.
She died Aug. 20, 2009, at her home.
