CHARLES HENRY
CENTER — Services for Charles L. "Bubber" Henry, 89, Center, are 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2008, at Legacy Church, the Rev. Scott Miller officiating. Burial follows at Center Cemetery.
Mr. Henry died Aug. 25, 2008, at his home. He was born Oct. 10, 1918, at Center to Charlie and Fannie Dame Henry.
He lived in Center most of his life and was a maintenance foreman for Evergreen Feed Mill from Sept. 27, 1951, until Feb. 3, 1984. He served in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of World War II. He was a member of Legacy Church, where his grandson serves as pastor.
He married Robbie Jean Walker May 1, 1947, at Ada.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Annie Saylors, Hazel Price, Edith Bennett; a brother, John Henry; and a granddaughter, Sarah Ballard.
Survivors include his wife, Robbie, Center; two sons, Joe and wife Jennifer Henry, Broken Arrow, and Don Henry, Ada; two daughters, Rita and husband Bob Patton, Ada, Shelli and husband Keith Ballard, Stratford; a sister, Christina Lewis, Oklahoma City; seven grandchildren, Regina and husband Stephen Kring, Jenks, Tara and husband Joel Summers, Tulsa, Jamie Henry, Glenpool, Jake Henry, Broken Arrow, Rachel and husband Scott Miller, Jared and wife Becky Hall, and Caylin Ballard, all of Stratford; a step-grandson and wife, Noel and Juli Patton, Shawnee; eight great-grandchildren, Nathan and Alli Kring, Jenks, Lily and Zora Summers, Tulsa, Camryn and Canaan Miller and Nolan and Lincoln Hall, all of Stratford; four step-great-grandchildren, Lane and Logan Miller, Elmore City, Cody and Tanner Patton, Lone Grove

LARRY RAMSEY
CHARLOTTE, NC. — A memorial service for Larry Ramsey, 67, was held Friday, Aug. 15, at McEwen Pineville Chapel in Charlotte, NC. Mr. Ramey died Aug. 12, 2008, at Carolinas Medical Center.
He was born March 19, 1941, in Odin, Ill., to Earl Ramsey and Ruth Loman.
During his early years, he lived in Canada and other locations, settling in Oklahoma where he attended Holdenville High School. He met his future wife, Hazel Rose, in Ada where he was a student.
Mr. Ramsey joined the Marine Corps and served from 1959 through 1963. He attended East Central State University in Ada and earned a degree in mathematics. He was employed as a mining tool engineer and lived in various locations across the country, settling in Charlotte in 1978. He retired in 2006 after 20 years in the U.S. Postal Service.
Mr. Ramsey is survived by his wife of 48 years; one son, Gary Ramsey and wife Libbi; and two grandchildren, Maygan and Alex.

TANE BRYANT
PONTOTOC — Services for Tane Bryant, 92, Pontotoc, are 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 27, at Pontotoc Methodist Church, Carl Hayes officiating. Burial follows at Pontotoc Cemetery.
Mrs. Bryant died Monday, Aug. 25, 2008, at Tishomingo hospital. She was born Nov. 13, 1915, at Pontotoc to William and Ella Colley.
She married Edd Bryant Jan. 20, 1931, at Sulphur. He died April 25, 1982.
She worked as a cook at Pontotoc School for many years and was involved with the Headstart program at Mill Creek Schools. She was a member of Pontotoc Methodist Church.
Mrs. Bryant was preceded in death by her parents; a granddaughter, Maria Easterling Upton Dec. 7, 2002; 11 brothers and sisters; and a son-in-law, Coy Easterling, May 1, 2005.
Survivors include a daughter, Dawatha Easterling, Connerville; grandchildren, Rosanna Easterling and Eddie Bond Easterling, both of Connerville; great-grandchildren, Bryant Upton, Brook Pinkston, Dakota Cole, Nevada Cole, Jory Easterling, Rowdy Elliott, Jared Easterling and Cedar Easterling; and other relatives and friends.
Bearers are Bryant Upton, Kirk House, Dakota Cole, Nevada Cole, Jory Easterling and Jared Easterling. Honorary bearers are Rowdy Elliott and Zan Upton.

ADA — Graveside services for Mary Louise Bundy, 84, Ada, are 10 a.m. Wednesday, at Rosedale Cemetery, the Rev. Glen Pence will officiate.
Mrs. Bundy died Monday, Aug. 25, 2008, at a local nursing home. She was born April 28, 1924, at Ada to Alfred and Faye Louise Allen Vaden.
She graduated from Horace Mann High School. She and her family lived in the Seminole area for 56 years and she and her husband owned and operated Bundy Seat Cover Center. She moved back to this area in June 2003 from Seminole. Mrs. Bundy was a member of the First Christian Church in Seminole.
She married Garland A. Bundy in 1942. He died in 2003.
Survivors include two daughters, Janan Kautz, Seminole, and Susan Hanna, Allen, Texas; two grandchildren, Eric and Audrey Hanna; and a sister, Carolyn Riggs, Ada.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and brothers, Al Joe “Sonny” Vaden and David Vaden.

ADA — Services for Elva Lee Wilson, 91, Ada, are 2 p.m. Thursday at Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Jim Ragland will officiate. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Wilson died Monday, Aug. 25, 2008, at her home. She was born Oct. 23, 1916, at Oakman, to Marsh and Mary Jane Miller Ragland.
She married Kenith Wilson March 16, 1935. He died Oct. 9, 1992.
Mrs. Wilson was a homemaker.
Survivors include four children, Phillip Wilson and wife Binnie, Ada, Juanita Pratt, Ada, Ann Humphrey and husband Dale, Skiatook, and Dee Munoz and husband Pete, Jacksonville, Fla; a half-sister, Zora Williams, Ada; six grandsons; three granddaughters; 19 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Bearers will be her grandchildren.
