ADA — No public funeral services are scheduled for Doil Lee Capps Sr., 77, Ada.
Mr. Capps died Thursday, Sept. 3, 2009, at his residence in Ada. He was born Aug. 5, 1932, in Francis to Oscar Calvin Capps and Myrtle Jones Capps.
He married Jaunita Hatton on Aug. 5, 1954, in Ada.
Mr. Capps worked for Howard Sheet and Metal for 45 years and he owned and operated Capps Auctioneer for many years. He was a lifelong resident of Ada and a veteran of United States Army serving in the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife, Jaunita Capps of the home; two sons, Dennis Capps and Doil Capps Jr. and his wife Margie all of Ada; one daughter, Debby Capps and her friend Ed Carpenter of Vanoss; two granddaughters, Cindy Capps and Christy Gross and her husband Steven, all of Ada; two great-granddaughters, Madison and Natalie Berryman; and three sisters, Faye and Shirley Capps, both of Ada, and Virble Jenkins and her husband John of Mustang.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Myrtle Capps; and eight brothers and sisters.

BONNIE MEDLOCK
ADA — Graveside service for Kathleene “Bonnie” Yvonne Medlock, 92, Ada, will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2009, at Rosedale Cemetery in Ada. Officiating will be Danny Stewart and Floyd Kaiser. Visitation will be from 2:30-4:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 7, 2009.
Mrs. Medlock died Friday, Sept. 4, 2009, in Ada. She was born Feb. 15, 1917, in Stratford to William and Lottie Davis Bevers.
She married Thomas Wesley Medlock on Jan. 6, 1934, in Sulphur, Oklahoma. He died July 16, 1966, in Ada.
Mrs. Medlock graduated from Stratford High School in Stratford. She was a lifelong resident of the area. She was a member of Southwest church of Christ in Ada and a lifelong member of the church of Christ. Mrs. Medlock and her husband were longtime owners and operators of Medlock’s Grocery and Meat Market in Roff during the 1950s and 1960s. She also worked at the Medicine Chest Pharmacy for many years.
Survivors include a son, Joe Medlock and his wife Linda of Ada; one granddaughter, Cathleen Louise Eaves and her husband Russell of Ada; one grandson, Mark Wesley Medlock of Ada; four great-granchildren, Kenny Mayfield, Micah Wesley Medlock and Marissa Eaves, all of Ada, and Aaron Mark Medlock of South Korea; and a sister, Laura Snowder, Abilene, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews
She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents and several brothers and sisters
Bearers are Earl Hood, Elmer Gerth, Alvin Jamar, Wendell Sherrell, Glendel Hatton, Kenny Mayfield, Russell Eaves and Wesley Medlock.

SCOTT RONK
CANADIAN — Graveside services for W. Scott Ronk, 46, Canadian, formerly of Ada, are 2 p.m. Tuesday at Maxwell Cemetery, the Revs. Darrell Phillips and Christine Gillum officiating.
Mr. Ronk died Friday, Sept. 4, 2009, at his home. He was born Aug. 30, 1963, at Oklahoma City to Jefferson Henry Ronk II and Dora Marionelle Choate Ronk.
He attended Latta Schools, was employed as a supervisor for the city of Canadian and was previously employed with Dollar Saver grocery in Ada. He was a member of the Ada Elks.
He and Dorothy Mary Louise Barnett were married Aug. 21, 1987.
Survivors include his wife, Mary, of the home; three daughters, Kandi Stucky and husband Matt, Edmond, Chelsea Ronk and Whitney Ronk, both of the home; two grandchildren, Axel Stucky and Leila Stucky, of Edmond; five sisters, Debra Neiman and husband Larry, Fletcher, Donna Gross and husband Joe, Anchorage, Alaska, Diane Whitney and husband John, Lawton, April Harper, Albuquerque, N.M., and Elaine Johnson, Oklahoma City; two brothers, Blake Ronk and wife Jana, Glenpool, and Mark Ronk and wife Juliet, Newbury Park, Calif.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Jefferson Ronk III.
Bearers are Justin Choate, Danny Allen, Michael “Buddy” Baldwin, James Baldwin, Tommy Choate and John Whitney Jr. Honorary bearers are John Whitney Sr., Cody Cruce, Matt Stucky and Deryk Ronk.
