CASEY HAWKINS
ADA — Funeral services for Casey Hawkins of Ada will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 9, at Snake Creek Indian Baptist Church near Little, OK. Interment will follow at Cornelius Family Cemetery near Little, OK. Officiating will be the Rev. Osborne Roberts, and the Rev. George Mooney. Wake service will be 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sep. 8, 2009 at Snake Creek Indian Baptist Church near Little, OK.
Mr. Hawkins died Saturday, Sept. 5, 2009 at his residence in Ada at the age of 21. He was born Sept. 28, 1987 in Ada to Jim Hawkins and Carol Harjo Hawkins.
Mr. Hawkins graduated from Byng High School in 2007 and he was a lifelong resident of Ada. He was a member of the Chickasaw Nation Dance Troop.
Mr. Hawkins is survived by his father: Jim Hawkins and Jaedeen Evans; three brothers: Jimmy “Chow” Hawkins, Toby Hawkins, and Kelly “Moksie” Hawkins; two sisters: Derekah Hawkins Kilcrease and Erika “Missy” Daniels; paternal grandmother: Evelyn Hawkins; three nephews: Saije and Kaden Kilcrease; and Caleb Hawkins and numerous aunts and uncles.
He was preceded by his mother: Carol Harjo Hawkins; one brother: Josh Micah “Sasquatch” Hawkins; maternal grandparents: Edmond and Lucy Harjo; and paternal grandfather: John Hawkins.
Pallbearers: Donny Eard, Isiah Harjo, Kendal Conlee, Kristopher Conlee, Jimmy “Chow” Hawkins, Toby Hawkins, Kelly “Moksie” Hawkins, Sheldon Newton, and Roman Kilcrease.

WOODWARD — Services for Lowell Leon Lillard, 85, Woodward, will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 9, at Crown Heights Baptist church. His son, Dr. Charles Lillard, officiating. Burial will be held at Elmwood Cemetery.
Mr. Lillard died Sept. 4, 2009 at his home in Woodward. He was born Oct. 2, 1923 in Ada to Charley Jonathan and Emma May (Hutchings) Lillard and attended Pecan Grove School. Mr. Lillard was united in marriage to Lindle “Toots” Brandon on October 30, 1943 at the home of the Justice of the Peace in Ada They made their first home in Roff and they were blessed with five children, Netha, Charles, Lonnie, Dewight, and Kirby.
They lived in Ada, Seminole, Oklahoma City, and Pauls Valley, before moving to Woodward in 1959. In his younger years, Mr. Lillard delivered groceries and he also worked as a butcher for a meat packing plant. He worked in the oilfield most of his life. He was the owner of Lillard Casing Pulling until his retirement in 1982. He then raised, trained and raced quarter horses and thoroughbreds. He also served as a deputy sheriff for a period of time.
Mr. Lillard was a member of the Crown Heights Baptist Church, where he served on various committees. Lowell served on several civic committees, the ambulance board and served as chairman of Kids Inc. during the time his sons were active in sports.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Lindle “Toots” Lillard of the home; one daughter, Netha Rohrer of Woodward; four sons, Dr. Charles Lillard and wife Suzanne of Edmond, Lonnie Lillard and wife LeAnne of Oklahoma City, Dewight Lillard and wife Kelly of Wichita, Kan., Kirby Lillard and wife Brooke of Woodward; 18 grandchildren, Vernon Rohrer, Roxy Myers, Eric Rohrer, Ayme Zlatnik, Matthew Lillard, Lori Bishop, Jimmy Dyer, April Gomez, Mandy Lillard, Kyle Lillard, Andrew Lillard, Misti Davis, Larrissa Lillard, Lacey Lillard, Levi Lillard, Chelsea Phillips, Landyn Phillips and Layten Phillips; 11 great-grandchildren, Zachary, Wesley, Stormy, Kylie, Jonathan, Kayden, Dean, Fiona, Hailey, Violet, Xavier; other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charley and Emma Lillard, one brother and sister-in-law, Hoyt and Mable Lillard and one nephew Tony Lillard.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Kids Inc. in Woodward in Mr. Lillard’s memory with the funeral home accepting the contributions.

OKLAHOMA CITY-Services for Lowell Watson, 91, Oklahoma City, formerly of Ada are 2 p.m. Wednesday at Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Frank Trent will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.
Mr. Watson died Saturday Sept. 5, 2009 at a Norman Veterans Center. He was born April 15, 1918 at Gerty to Tom and Carrie Wallace Watson. He was raised in the Beulah/Calvin area during his school days and graduated from Atwood High School. He attended Tishomingo Jr. College and East Central State College in Ada. Before going into the military, he worked for Boeing Aircraft in Wichita, Kansas. He served in the U. S. Army Air Force from March 1943 to March 1946 serving one of those years in India.
He married Imogene Bunnell of Omaha, Neb. June 29, 1946 in Holdenville, Oklahoma. In August 1946, he obtained employment with People’s Electric Cooperative and retired after 37 years of employment. After retirement in 1983, he went back and worked as one of their dispatchers for a few years. Mr. Watson was a member of Calvary Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Survivors include his wife, Imogene “Jean” Watson, of the home; daughter, Marleene Watson Cupps and husband Fred, Oklahoma City; and two grandchildren, Jeffrey and Effie Cupps.
He was preceded in death by his parents, nine siblings and his daughter, Donna Jean.

VAN BUREN COUNTY, Tenn. — Graveside services for David McCoy Williams, 85, formerly of Ada, will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Gravel Hill Cemetery in Van Buren County, Tenn., Wednesday Sept. 9, 2009.
Mr. Williams died Monday, Sept. 7, 2009 in Sparta, Tenn. He was formerly a pastor of First Pentecostal Holiness Church.
