DAVIS — Services for Thurman T. Ratchford, 89, Davis, are pending with Hale's Funeral Home, Davis. Mr. Ratchford died Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2009, at Ardmore.

BARBARA YOUNG
ADA — Funeral services for Barbara Ann “Luckey” Young, 59, Ada, are 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 3, 2009, at Smith-Phillips Funeral Home in Ada. Burial follows at Athens Cemetery in Ada. Officiating will be Bill Green.
Mrs. Young died Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2009, at Carl Albert Indian Health Facility in Ada. She was born Sept. 3, 1950, in Ada and raised by Med and Emma Long.
She married Harold Young on Aug. 9, 1988, in Pauls Valley.
Mrs. Young graduated from Byng High School and received a bachelor's degree in counseling from East Central University in Ada. She was a member of Hammond Heights church of Christ and was a lifelong resident of Ada. She worked for many years as a counselor for Southern Oklahoma Mental Health Facility. She also was the director for the Ada Battered Women Center and a volunteer with CASA.
Survivors include her husband, Harold Young of the home; two step sons, Marcus and his wife Marya Young of Welliington, Kans., and David Young of Oklahoma City; two daughters, Lea Brown and her husband Richard of Ada, and Ashley Young of the home; and seven grandchildren, Connor and Logan Williams and Chantel and Richard Jr. Brown all of Ada, Kaelyn Williams of Chula Vista, Calif., Jordyn and Chloy Young of Wellington, Kan..
Mrs. Young was preceded in death by her parents, Med and Emma Long and several brothers and sisters.
Bearers are family and friends.

BEULAH WOODCOCK
SULPHUR — Funeral services for Beulah Woodcock, 95, Sulphur, are 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 3, 2009, at Smith-Phillips Funeral Home in Ada. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery in Stonewall. Officiating will be the Rev. Stephen Nation and assisting will be Mike Laxton.
Ms. Woodcock died Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2009, at Arbuckle Memorial Hospital in Sulphur.
She was born Jan. 10, 1914, in Monterey, Tenn., to James Sylva Jackson and Mary Etta Rockwell Jackson.
She married Nelson Woodcock on June 3, 1935, in Stonewall. Mr. Woodcock died Oct. 1, 1997.
Mrs. Woodcock was a homemaker for many years and was a lifelong resident of the area. She was a member of the Assembly of God.
Survivors include one brother, Tom Jackson, Purcell; and one sister: Ellease Byers, Hickory.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Nelson Woodcock; her parents; six brothers, Johnson, Thurman, Euel Dee, Tipp, Ralph “Tiny” and Doyle Jackson; and five sisters, Josie McCormick, Ruth Smith, Gustava Boles, Eura Tracey and Robbie Fallette.
Bearers are Terry Laxton, Tracey Laxton, Rodney Laxton, David Byers, John Bell and Cody Sheppard.

JAMIE TURNER
ADA — Services for Jamie Shawn Turner, 41, Ada, are 1 p.m. Friday at Byng Free Will Baptist Church, the Revs. Rodger Arter and Dan Cusher will officiate. Burial will follow at Allen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Criswell Funeral Home.
Ms. Turner died Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2009, at a local hospital. She was born Sept. 17, 1968, at Ada to Jimmy and Linda Crawley Turner.
She attended Byng schools and graduated from Byng High School.
Survivors include her mother and stepfather, Linda Logan and David Logan, Ada; an aunt, Gayle Musser and her husband Dean, Ada; three stepsisters, Angela Logan, Tecumseh, Lawanna Logan, Corpus Christi, Texas, and Chris Logan, Fittstown; a stepbrother, Jonathan Hoff, Ada; her grandmother, Dolly Crawley, Ada; her grandfather, Marvin Crawley, Francis; two cousins, Allen Musser and Shelly Bryant; and special friends, John Hoff, Ada and Paralee Hoff, Ada.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jimmy Turner, her grandparents, O.V. and Verlie Turner, a sister, Sheila Turner, her stepfather, Bill Hoff, and a special friend, Mike Mickle.
Bearers will be Neil Hood, Jonathan Hoff, Doyle Simpson, Chris Rigsby, and Keith Allred. Honorary bearers will be Mark Factor, Rick Lemons and David Yockey.
