SARA GREGORY
ADA — Services for Sara Jo Coffman Gregory, 86, Ada, are 10:30 a.m. Monday at Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Carl Hayes will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3-5 p.m. Sunday at Criswell Funeral Home.
Mrs. Gregory died Friday, Oct. 2, 2009, at a local nursing home. She was born Oct. 21, 1922, at Pauls Valley to Walter Clarence and Annie Terry Edwards Coffman.
She attended Pauls Valley schools and graduated from Pauls Valley High School in 1941.
She married Skeet Lawrence Gregory in Pauls Valley on Feb. 20, 1943. Early in their marriage they traveled with a survey crew throughout Oklahoma, Texas and New Mexico. They also lived in Anadarko for a few years then moved to Pauls Valley, where her husband worked for the USDA Soil Conservation Service. This job moved them to Chickasha, Lindsay and Okmulgee, but most of their married life was spent with the SCS in Ada.
Survivors include a son, Lawrence "Larry" James Gregory; daughters, Andrea "Sam" Joan Gregory, Ada, Rebecca "Becky" Lucille Wilkerson and husband Kenny, Guthrie, and Barbara Jo Gose and husband Roger, Stillwater; a special niece, Elizabeth "Betsy" Rimmer and husband Jim, Houston, Texas; grandson, Gregory Keith Wilkerson and wife Nicole and their children, Kennedy Ann and Bonnie Rose of Elgin, Texas; granddaughter, Kristi Nicole Knierim and husband Jared and their daughters, Karis Grace and Lark Lynn of LaVergne, Tenn.; granddaughter, Jaime Rebecca Cecil and husband Cliff and their daughters Kelly and Hailey and son Justin, Payton, Colo., grandson, Derek Blaine Phillips, Estes Park, Colo.; a brother, Eugene Coffman and wife Earline, Galena Park, Texas; sisters-in-law, Jerry Coffman, Pauls Valley, Johnnie Coffman, Pauls Valley and Pearl Coffman, Houston, Texas; a special grandson, Jacob Jones, Ada; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, her parents and nine brothers and sisters.
Bearers will be Jim Rimmer, Terry Thornton, Keith Wilkerson, Wayne Jones, Glen Jones and Brian McCurdy. Honorary bearers will be Michael Mayer, Dave Bear, Gene Jones, Allen Randle and Paul and Nancy Brook Freeman.
The family says those who wish may make memorials to the American Red Cross or to Halo Hospice, 1298 N. Hills Shopping Center, Lonnie Abbott Blvd., Ada, OK 74820.

BOB AUSTIN
ADA — Memorial services for Floyd Robert “Fairway Bob” Austin, 79, Ada are 2 p.m. Tuesday at Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Bob Langston will officiate.
Mr. Austin died Thursday, Oct. 1, 2009, in Ada. He was born Aug. 31, 1930, at Natrona Heights, Pa., to O. Floyd and Madeline Ricail Austin.
He graduated from Har-Brack High School, Natrona Heights, Pa., in 1948. He attended Carnegi Tech and the University of Pittsburg.
He married Cecilia Allison Owens at Winchester, Va., March 31, 1987.
Mr. Austin was the BASF representative for JP Emco in Ada, retiring in 1999 after 15 years of service.
Survivors include his wife, Cecilia Austin, of the home; two sons, Mark Robert Austin and Paulette, Norwich, Conn., and Robert Gene Austin and wife Janna, Uncasville, Conn.; stepdaughters, Roxane Ritter and husband Charles, Oklahoma City and Danielle Delint, Wilsonville, Ore.; a stepson, Douglas Owens; grandchildren, Eric and Erin Austin, Canandaigua, N.Y.; step-grandchildren, Ladd and Fallon Clark, LaGrande, Ore., Bennett and Sarina Ritter of Oklahoma City and Tiara Owens, Oklahoma City; a sister, Phyllis Austin Rhue and her husband Fred; several nieces, nephews and their families; and his golfing friends, Keith, Gov, Kirk and Bob.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a son, Gary Lynn Austin.

KONAWA — A wake for May Sue Foste Scott, 55, Konawa, is 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 5, 2009, at High Springs Baptist Church of Konawa. Funeral services are 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 6, at High Springs Baptist Church. Burial follows at the Foster Family Cemetery in Konawa.
She died Friday, Oct. 2 at an Ada hospital.

ADA — Services for Catherine Louise Youngblood McClure, 55, Ada, are 10 a.m. Tuesday at High Hill Baptist Church, the Rev. Jeff Frazier will officiate. Burial will follow at High Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. McClure died Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2009, at a local hospital. She was born May 19, 1954, at Bakersfield, Calif., to Alford Landon and Mary Earlean FrancisYoungblood.
She attended Bakersfield, Calif., schools and moved to Ada about 1979 from Bakersfield.
She married Duane Barrington McClure Nov. 6, 1970, in Lamont, Calif.
Mrs. McClure was a wife, mother, and grandmother and a member of High Hill Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Duane Barrington McClure, of the home; a daughter, Cynthia Lynn Claborn and husband Kenneth, Ada; a son, Douglas Edward McClure and wife Jennifer, Ada; grandchildren, James Duane Claborn, Tailley Dawn Claborn, Hunter Wayne Claborn, Austin Wayne Claborn, Casey Lynn McClure, Jacob Dakota McClure, Kelton Shy Anne McClure, Autumn Jones, Hunter Jones and Sarah McClure; and three brothers, Terry Michael Youngblood and wife Cheryl, Oklahoma City, Henry “Leroy Youngblood and wife Lilli, Ada, and Alfred “Lynn Youngblood and wife Linda, Ada; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and grandparents, Earl and Nina Francis and Carl and Bessie Youngblood.
Bearers will be J.D. Claborn, Keith Youngblood, Allyn Youngblood, Rusty Youngblood, John Cannady and David Long. Honorary bearers will be Harold Coffee, Kevin Atkenson, Jeremy Youngblood, and Shawn Futischa.
