MARY MILLER
TISHOMINGO — Graveside services for Mary Francis Roff Miller, 88, formerly of Ada, are 1 p.m. Thursday at Tishomingo Cemetery, Tishomingo.
Mrs. Miller died Oct. 7, 2008. She was born April 17, 1920.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband of 62 years, Byron D. Miller.
Survivors include her daughters and their spouses, Gayle and Jimmy Walker of Richmond, Calif., Marilyn and Michael Cox of Indianapolis, Ind., Cathy and Don Kirk of Oklahoma City, and Judy and Tom Siebenthal of Los Gatos, Calif.; grandchildren, Angela Walker, Christopher and Cathy Walker, Michele and Greg Tracy, Kevin and Jackie Cox, Alicia Siebenthal, Michelle and Jonathan Smith; great-grandchildren, Tory Smith, Evelyn Walker, Sam Walker, Cameron Cox, and Kennedy Cox.

ADA — Services for Lisa Reeves, 36, Ada, are 10 a.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church in Ada. Burial follows at Center Cemetery, Center. Officiating will be the Rev. Pat Kilby.

Mrs. Reeves died Oct. 5, 2008, at an Oklahoma City hospital. She was born Jan. 18, 1972, in Bakersfield, Calif., to Sam L. Hooser and Billye Misenhimer Hooser.
She married Shawn Reeves Feb. 25, 1995.
She graduated from Shafter High School in Shafter, Calif., in 1990 and graduated from East Central University in Ada in 1995 with a bachelor of science degree. She also received a degree in medical technology. She moved from Shafter, Calif., in 1993 to Ada, where she has lived since. She was a member of First Baptist Church, where she was third grade Sunday School teacher, a member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes, a parent volunteer at Vanoss Public Schools where her daughters attended, a member of Sisters FBCA and American Society of Clinical Pathology.
Survivors include her husband, Shawn Reeves, of the home; three daughters, Hayley, Grace and Mallory Reeves, all of the home; her father, Sam L. Hooser, Ada; a brother, Sam Hooser and his wife Heather of Ada; a sister, Stacy Hooser, Ada; her grandmother, Viola Misenhimer of California; two aunts, Phyllis Sanders, Stratford, and LaWanda Cramer, Bakersfield, Calif.; and numerous other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Billye Hooser, and her grandfather, Bill Misenhimer.
Bearers are Sam Hooser, Scot Reeves, Seth Reeves, Clay Jackson, Brandon Chandler, Tim Claxton, Travis Snowden and Tanner Snowden. Honorary bearers are Pauls Valley Lab and Bruce Mahan.

OKLAHOMA CITY — Services for Gladys Faye Clemons, 80, Oklahoma City, formerly of Ada are noon Friday at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, the Rev. John D. Norvell will officiate.
Mrs. Clemons died Monday, Oct. 6, 2008. She was born Dec. 20, 1927, at Monette, Ark., to Arvle and Gertrude Summers Adkins.
She lived in Sterling, Okla., and graduated from Sterling High School.
She married Dan Clemons in January 1947. He died in July 1998.
They lived in Norman, Okla., Collinsville, Ill., and Oklahoma City before moving to Ada in 1956. She worked with her husband at Clemons Thrifty-wise, and Clemons Wal-Mart Pharmacy. She retired from Fisher Properties in 1983. She moved to Oklahoma City in 2002 and lived with her daughter until her death. She was a member of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Ada.
Survivors include a son, Dan Clemons II and wife Suzanne, Ada; a daughter, Denise Clemons, Oklahoma City; three sisters, Opal Bohreer, McAlester, Mary Kelly, Duncan, and Jane Turney, Ada; two brothers, Arvie Adkins Jr., and wife Donna, Duncan, and Dwain Adkins, and wife Carolyn, Duncan; a granddaughter, Savannah Clemons; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Louis Daniel Clemons, a son, Charles Steven Clemons, and a sister, Pauline Oakly.
The family says those who wish may make memorials to the American Cancer Society, Oklahoma City office, 6525 N. Meridian, Ste. 110, Oklahoma City, OK 73116; or favorite charity or church in her remembrance.

ADA — Services for Emily Jewel Howard, 81, Ada, are 1 p.m. Thursday at the Pennington United Methodist Church in Reagan, the Revs. Jerry Imotichey and Rufus Eyachabe will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery in Ada. Family and friends may call at the church from 4 p.m. Wednesday until service time.
Mrs. Howard died Monday, Oct. 6, 2008, at her home. She was born April 11, 1927, at Mill Creek to Loshman and Phoebe Keel Columbus.
She attended Carter Seminary School in Ardmore. She moved to Ada about 1985 from Los Angeles, Calif.
She married Raymond Vincent Howard. He died March 28, 1996, at Okmulgee.
Mrs. Howard was a homemaker and a nurse’s aide in California. She was an active member of Pennington United Methodist Church in Reagan.
Survivors include a special friend, William Baker; two daughters, Joyce Wesley, Milburn, and Ruth Howard, Ada; a son, Luther John, Tishomingo; a sister, Hannah Corsello, Tishomingo; 11 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and one sister.
Bearers will be her grandsons, David Cripps, Brandon John, Travis John, Bryan Howard, Robert Howard, Adrian John, Bryson Paulin and Wyatt Hartsfield.

STONEWALL — Services for Vickie Jean Stone, 52, Stonewall, are 11 a.m. Friday at Central Church of Christ, Don Hoover will officiate. Burial will follow at Byrd’s Prairie at Tupelo.
Mrs. Stone died Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2008, at an Oklahoma City hospital. She was born Sept. 10, 1956, at Tupelo to Riley and Maggie Cox Harmon.
She attended Tupelo schools and lived in this area all her life. Mrs. Stone was an operator and supervisor for Wrangler Manufacturing Company for 23 years. She was an active member of the Stonewall Church of Christ.
She married Terry Stone on Feb. 9, 1979.
Survivors include her husband, Terry Stone, of the home; a son, Steven Humphreys and wife Misty, Jesse; three daughters, Shanna Stone and Heath Stone, Ada, Amanda Stone and Matt, Ada, and Andrea Stone, of the home; seven grandchildren; three brothers, Junior Stonecipher, Ada, Barry Stonecipher, Oklahoma City, and Michael Harmon, Mesquite, Texas; and four sisters, Deloris Chiles, Stringtown, Durlene Perkins, Burleson, Texas, Reed Higginbotham, Oklahoma City, and JoDeene Blair, Meeker.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Bearers will be her nephews, Zeb Stone, Luke Stone, Josh Sanders, Chris Clymer, Charlie Stonecipher and Charlie Johnston.
