MATILDA SILAS
KONAWA — Funeral services for Matilda Ann (Lehman) Silas, 69, long-time resident of Konawa, will be 1 p.m. Friday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Konawa; the Rev. Adrian Vorderlandwehr, O.S. B. will officiate. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery. A Wake service will be held at 6 p.m. today at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Konawa.
Mrs. Silas died Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2009. She was born March 10, 1940 at Sacred Heart in Konawa, to Cecelia (Nona) and Willie A. Lehman. She was married to Joseph Kuestersteffen and later to Kenneth Silas (both whom have deceased). Mrs. Silas lived in the Konawa area for most of her life, and she worked as a home health aide.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Cecelia and Willie Lehman; two husbands, Joseph Kuestersteffen and Kenneth Silas; three brothers, Billy Ray, Bob, and David Lehman.
She is survived by three sons, Daryl Kuestersteffen and wife LaDonna of Konawa, Michael Kuestersteffen and wife Vicki of Norman, and Sam Silas and wife Marteen of Ada; two daughters, JoAnn Johnson and husband Mickey of Konawa, and Susie Huggins and husband Ted of Konawa; one brother, Tommy Lehman and wife Kay of Konawa; 12 grandchildren, LaDawna and Steven Fry, Jody Johnson, Laura, Hilary, Ciara, Briana, and Braden Kuestersteffen, Whitney, Alisha, and Tyler Huggins, Zachary and Josh Silas; and two great-grandchildren, Ashley and Dylan Fry.
Bearers will be Jody Johnson, Steven Fry, Coby Lehman, Taylor Lehman, Levi Lehman, and Justin Morrison. Honorary Pallbearers are Josh Lesher, Robert Lowden, Shane Coker, and Bobby Lehman.

NORMAN — Graveside services for Dixie Louise (Daniel) Ingram, 93 of Norman, will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Norman IOOF Cemetery with Pastor Joe Grizzle officiating.
Mrs. Ingram was born June 10, 1916 to Tom and Alma Daniel in Wynnewood, Okla. She died October 13, 2009. She was married to Floyd Ingram for 67 years. Together they established General Auto Supply in 1961 where both continued to work until 2004 when they were 87 and 88 years old.
She was preceded in death by Floyd in 2005 and all of her siblings.
Mrs. Ingram is survived by her only child, Thomas; grandsons Craig Ingram and his wife, Trish, Clay Ingram; great-grandchildren Zachary, Codie, Kylie, Colton and Autumn; special nephew Sonny Barnes and his wife, Sandra; and many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the Cedar Creek nursing, direct care staff and members of housekeeping for their love and attention to Dixie during her stay with them and her last moments on earth.

MAYGAN BALLARD
PAULS VALLEY — Funeral services for Maygan Ann Ballard, 21, of Pauls Valley, will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Stratford High School Auditorium; Sharon Winn officiating. Burial will follow at McGee Cemetery in Stratford.
Miss Ballard was born Sept. 11, 1988 in Ada to Sidney and Sheila (Berry) Ballard. She died Oct. 13, 2009 at Ada.
She was a student at East Central University where she was a member of the ladies golf team.
Miss Ballard is survived by her parents, Sid and Sheila Ballard of Pauls Valley; grandmothers, LaVita Berry, Stratford and Jo Ann Ballard, Pauls Valley; Uncle Mickey and Aunt Tracy Ballard, Ada; Aunt Anita and Uncle Buddy Aelmore, Oklahoma City.
Bearers will be her friends known as “The Posse,” Tyler Lynn, Colten Sharpp, Jake Haverson and Jay Harper.

COALGATE — Funeral services for Margaret Faye (Brecheen) Ridley, 79, a longtime Coal County resident, will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Coalgate Church of Christ; Mr. Lloyd McElhaney officiating. Burial will follow at Moore Cemetery. Family night will be tonight from 6 - 8 p.m. at Brown’s Funeral Chapel.
Mrs. Ridley died Oct. 14, 2009 at Coalgate. She was born Dec. 27, 1929 at McAlester to Palmer and Faye (Northcott) Brecheen. She attended Olney School and graduated from Ada High School in 1947. She married Ray Ridley Jan. 10, 1949 at Ada. He preceded her in death April 30, 2007.
Mrs. Ridley worked for the Olney Post Office and opened Band Box Beauty Shop in Coalgate. She worked as a clerk for the Coalgate Post Office for 29 years, retiring in October 1992.
Mrs. Ridley was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, her twin sister Marjorie Hefley Droke, brothers-in-law, Howard Hefley and Dan Droke, and son-in-law Hershel Denson.
Survivors include her son, Gary Ridley of Coalgate; daughters Carol Denson, Olney, Kay Battles and husband David, Olney; grandchildren, Kenny Denson and wife Shonda, Kyle Denson and wife Rachael, Jim Battles and wife Melissa, Joe Battles, Lucas Ray Ridley, and Lacy Edwards; five great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson; two sisters-in-law Zelma Dean Brecheen, Olney and Zelda Ridley of Coalgate; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Bearers will be Howard Ables, Zane Brecheen, Dane Brecheen, Mike Hefley, Tim Hefley and Eddi Anglin. Honorary Bearers will be Don Burns, Nickey Beal, John Wayne Ward, Herman Bills, Victor Enrico, Delbert Inman and E.A. Gossett.
In Lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to a favorite memorial.

FT. SMITH, Ark. — Private family services will be held for John Earl Price, 72, Ft. Smith, Arkansas at a later date.
Mr. Price died Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2009 at Ft. Smith, Ark. He was born April 3, 1937 at Fitzhugh, Okla. to Herbert Price and Mary E. Smith Fike. He attended Latta schools. Mr. Price was a carpenter until his retirement and had served in the United States Navy.
Survivors include two sons, Dean Price, Ada and Gary Price, Pauls Valley; two daughters, Johnese Shelton, Ada and Tammi Stick, Ada; a sister, Senobia Furnish, Colorado; 12 grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a sister and two brothers.
