NETTIE BIGGS
ADA-Services for Nettie Caroline Biggs, 87, Ada are 2 p.m. Monday at Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Kendall Martin officiating. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.
Mrs. Biggs died Thursday, Oct. 15, 2009 at a local nursing home. She was born March 11, 1922 at Bromide, Okla. to David Merrit and Clara Hadassah Swain Muncrief. She attended Plainview school near Bromide.
She married Edgar Biggs on July 19, 1941 at Tishomingo, Okla. and moved to Ada in 1946. He preceded her in death on April 10, 1988 at Stratford. Mrs. Biggs was a housekeeper and homemaker and a member of Church of God of Prophecy.
Survivors include two sons, Edgar Ralph Biggs and wife Almeda, Okmulgee and Jimmie D. Biggs, Oklahoma City; a daughter, Betty Lancaster and husband Wayne, Ada; a half-brother, Richard Muncrief and wife Sunny, Madill; daughter-in-law, Deborah Biggs, Edmond; grandchildren, Kathy Almeda Summers and husband Larry, Claremore, Joseph Biggs, Edmond and Melissa Musgrove and husband Mark, Yukon; three great-grandchildren, Kyle Deshields, Okmulgee, Wesley Deshields, Claremore and Ashley Deshields, Tulsa.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a grandson, Michael Morrison and most of her siblings.
Bearers will be Wayne Biggs, David Roach, Brian Smith, Wayne Lancaster, Richard Roach and Steve Timmons. Honorary bearers will be Joseph A. Biggs, Kyle B. Deshields and Wesley D. Deshields.

JERRY MOBERLY
ADA-Services for Gerald Richard “Jerry” Moberly, 69, Ada, are 2 p.m. Tuesday at Southwest Church of Christ, Floyd Kaiser will officiate. Burial will follow at Oakman Cemetery.
Mr. Moberly died Friday, Oct. 16, 2009 at a local hospital. He was born May 18, 1940 at Oklahoma City to Charlie and Lois Massey Moberly. He attended school at Pauls Valley and Hobbs, New Mexico.
He enlisted in the United States Navy Oct. 1957 where he traveled around the world twice and crossed the equator Feb. 26, 1958. After serving four years as a machinist mate on the USS Rogers, he was honorably discharged March 1961.
He married Norma Lovin July 30, 1961 at Gainesville, Texas. Mr. Moberly owned and operated ApCo Service Station in Moore and Standard Service Station in Ada until his retirement. He was a member of Southwest Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Norma Moberly, of the home; his children, Gerald Richard Moberly, II and wife Carol, Oxford, Kan., Donna Mikeska and husband Johnny, Arlington, Texas, David Moberly, Ada, John Moberly and wife Michelle, Oxford, Kan., and Mary Rosenbalm and husband Jerry, Caddo Mills, Texas; 12 grandchildren, Gerald Richard “Trey” Moberly, III, Brad Oliver Moberly, Kyle Massey Moberly, Johnna Niccole Hannah, Jacob Nathaniel Hannah, Vincent Thomas Moberly, Kiri Beth Castro, Mallory Nikole Moberly, John Wayne Moberly, Tabatha Lyn Alexander, Samantha Ann Moberly, and Jerry Lloyd T. “Bubba” Rosenbalm II; six great-grandchildren, Caeden Paige Hannah, Kendra Rhae Hannah, Kielii Capri Hannah, Sunden Rogers, Jada Alexander and Emma Moberly.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two younger brothers, Jimmy Moberly and Ken Moberly, one older brother, Charles Moberly, and his son, Larry Moberly.
Bearers will be Daryl Pults, Glendel Hatton, David Rodriguez, Raymond Johnson, Bobby Johns and Bill Hart.
