“I believe the article in the Tuesday, April 29, edition of your paper that Miss Kathleen Parker wrote needs some rework. I believe she has offended several people here. I just thought I would mention, people are pretty touchy these days.”

“Why would be want to drill in ANWR when we have adequate oil supplies all over the United States. There are new discoveries in North Dakota, in Texas, there’s drilling going on all over Oklahoma, discoveries in Utah. The reason the major oil companies want to go to Anwar is they want you as the taxpayers to pay them to drill. That’s what their push is about drilling more in Alaska. Think about it, we are using less gas than we ever have and we are reducing more oil.”

“On Wednesday’s paper, the Dogs Days of Baseball. That must have been a Democrat dog, that’s all I can say about that.”

“Have you noticed that these high-paid politicians of whom we are paying their salaries have the nerve to call you for donations? They seem to find you when they want money but don’t know you otherwise. What gall.”

“I was calling in response to “Should English be the number one language in Oklahoma?” This is America. It should be English. If they can’t talk English they should go back where they came from.”
