Sounding Board, 9-13-09

"Thank you Mr. President for speaking to our children. Would you please speak to unborn babies through mothers who are considering abortion? Fifty million dead babies are enough already."

"I believe insurance should be mandatory. When people go to the hospital and don't have to pay it all or pay a highly reduced rate because they don't have insurance. Either they can't afford it or chose not to. It is passed on to the insurance companies and passed on to us."

"Who is sponsoring these tea parties? Where is the money coming from to do all this? Is it local people? Or, are there outside groups coming into town to organize and sponsor these and pay for them. I am sure there is a cost involved for using the agri-plex or wherever they are going and ads in the paper advertising their meeting. Who is responsible for the information they put out. Where does the information come from? We would like to know for sure what the source is."

B.C. — Catherine White of Sasakwa is spearheading the local tea parties. It is funded by local donations.

"I would just like to know what everyone thought of the Republican Congressman calling the President of the United States a liar on the floor. Talk about class. Well, at least he didn't throw a shoe at him."

"In November 2010, I think many liberal representatives and senators are going to hear the old Donald Trump phrase 'You're fired.'"

"Have you heard the latest what our Socialistic, Communistic, Muslim President is doing? He is wanting our children to get an education — to make something out of themselves. The nerve of that man. I don't know what he is going to do next. I heard an 11-year-old boy say he is the most powerful man in the country. I think we should listen to him. Who has been brainwashing this child? I would like to know."
