Fall colors are really here

We will announce the winners of the Halloween coloring contest in next week’s paper. Had some really good and original pictures turned in so the judges will have a tough time deciding on the winners in each age group.

New fiction this week includes “True Blue” by David Baldacci, “The Scarpetta Factor” by Patricia Cornwell, “The Professional” by Robert B. Parker, “9 Dragons” by Michael Connelly, “The Silent Spirit” by Margaret Coel, “Half Broke Horses” by Jeannette Walls and “Locked In” by Marcia Muller.

In non-fiction we added “The Lupus Book” by Dr. Daniel J. Wallace and “What I Know: Uncommon Wisdom and Universal Truths From 10-Year-Olds and 100-Year-Olds” by Roger Emerson Fishman.

Enjoy the beautiful foliage we are having and watch for the migrating birds. I love this time of year, don’t you?
