Monna Shebester Harrel

Monna Shebester Harrel of Pauls Valley, Okla., was born on July 20, 1952, in Oklahoma City, Okla., and passed from this life on October 1, 2009, in Pauls Valley at the age of 57 years.

Monna grew up and attended school in Wayne, Okla., where she graduated high school. She attended college at Murray State and OSU. and obtained her LPN.

On January 4, 1991, Monna married Terry Harrel in Ada, Okla.

In her spare time she enjoyed gardening, training horses, going to horse races, traveling, going to the beach in Key West and was an avid OSU fan. Monna attended the Eastern Gate Baptist Church in Wynnewood, Okla. The highlight of her life was her family.

Mrs. Harrel is survived by her husband: Terry of the home; one son: Te Harrel of Pauls Valley; two daughters: Cree Harrel of Pauls Valley, Sage TeBeest and her husband Matt of Wamego, Kan.; her mother: Betty Shebester of Wynnewood; one brother: Lyndell Shebester and his wife Donna of Maysville, Okla.; and one grandchild: Xander TeBeest of Wamego, Kan.

Mrs. Harrel was preceded in death by her father, Ralph Shebester.

Funeral services for Mrs. Harrel are scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday, October 6, 2009, in the Wooster Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larry Cornforth officiating.
