Carla Lynne Coffey Miles

Carla Lynne Coffey Miles, 50, a longtime resident of Pauls Valley, passed away Nov. 4, 2009, at Pauls Valley General Hospital.

Carla lived her Christian faith as a widow, single mother and through her work as a licensed practical nurse.

Carla was educated in Wynnewood, other local schools and universities. Carla touched the local and extended community with her selfless love and special skills for patient care in home health, hospitals and clinics. Carla cared for her patients while inspiring co-workers. She was the longtime assistant at a local physician’s practice and made many friends.

Carla is survived by her daughter, Ralyn Miles of the home; one son, Bobby of Dallas, Texas; her parents, Jim and Helen Coffey of Elmore City, Okla.; numerous relatives, and a host of friends and loved ones.

Carla was preceded in death by John D. Wagner, Johnece Wagner, Janice Coffey, Frank Coffey, Rena Coffey and Don Miles.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday and Friday, Nov. 5 and 6 at Wooster Funeral Home in Pauls Valley, Okla. Family will receive friends between the hours of 5 and 6 p.m. both evenings.

A memorial and celebration are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, 2009, at the Elmore City, Okla., Church of Christ with Joe Terrell officiating. Additional words of comfort will include Dr. Dennis Whitehouse, Carl Feril and Robbie Carman.
