PV has three picked for All State

Senior members of the 2009 Pauls Valley fast-pitch softball team have made their mark on the program over the last four years. It started with an Academic State Championship and ended this week with three of those girls being named to the Fast-Pitch All-State Team.

Seniors Jade Sharp, Tawni Lindsey and Ashley Mitchell were selected to the 17-member Middle West squad.

Mitchell, who will be attending USAO on a softball scholarship, was chosen as the team’s third baseman.

Lindsey, who is still weighing her softball collegiate options, was chosen as a catcher.

Sharp, who is planning on attending OSU, was chosen as a utility player.

Pauls Valley was the only team to have three players chosen.

Here is the 2009 Middle West All-State team that will be coached by Susie Oliphant of Anadarko.
